No wonder they wanted real-time transmission of election results! Look at the people that they planned to use to vote for their Agbaje candidate!
A party that cannot organise itself wants to organise Nigeria? A group that is unable to identify its own supporters wants to identify Nigeria's challenges. An association that does not know how to solve its own problems wants to solve the challenges of Africa's largest nation.
Meanwhile, the same African Democratic Congress says it is better than the All Progressives Congress, which requires the National Identification Number as a mandatory step before e-registration to prevent fake registrations!!
No be juju be that?

Ofunaofu: Op, I’d advise you to redirect the energy you’re using to monitor what the ADC did or didn’t do toward telling Nigerians what Tinubu has actually done to deserve reelection.
Redirect that same energy toward explaining why Tinubu has woefully failed to provide constant electricity, the very promise he made himself. He even told Nigerians not to vote for him again if he failed to deliver on it. It is evident why the ADC is in disarray when individuals like you cannot grasp a simple fact that 1 + 1 equals 2. President Bola Tinubu has been in office for only two years and ten months, yet you ignorantly refer to a four-year tenure—a milestone that is still one year and two months away. |

Politics › Did ADC ALLOW Multiple Registrations On Their Platform? by blamingthedevil(op): 4:10am On Mar 02 |
ADC might have acted deliberately to encourage multiple registrations by the same individuals, thereby inflating the registration figures. However, this approach contradicts the requirements set by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and will ultimately fail the data validation process and the party may not participate in 2027 elections.
As implemented by All Progressives Congress (APC), INEC’s Digital Data Register registration requirements are straightforward: 1. Registration are geo-located, specifically tied to the registrant’s ward. 2. Prospective member must locate his or her ward in the State where he or she is expected to cast votes during general election. 3. Only one field is required—the National Identification Number (NIN)—after which all other personal details are automatically populated from the NIN database.
Is it a deliberate fraudulent attempt to allow multiple registrations by ADC or gross incompetence that has bedevilled the party?

Politics › Stabilisation Of Naira Big Plus For Tinubu's Administration -- Iyabo Obasanjo by blamingthedevil(op): 1:05pm On Mar 01 |
Professor Iyabo Obasanjo, the daughter of the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has said that the prevailing stabilization of the Naira against the dollar is a plus for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and something commendable.
Obasanjo, who described the phenomenon of “stabilisation of the Naira is a big one,” noted that the predictability in the exchange rate is crucial for business growth and economic prosperity.
The former Senator for Ogun Central who recently declared her ambition to contest the 2027 governorship seat of the state, made this known on Saturday while speaking with journalists at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, the state capital.
She lauded the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project of President Bola Tinubu for its potential to decongest the Ogun State corridor of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, ease transportation to the Eastern states, links Calabar and Lagos ports together and boost business along the corridor.
“I think there is a lot going on positively. One is the stabilisation of the Naira. “What that does is that people can predict how much money they will spend on imports and how much income they will get. So stabilisation of the Naira is a big one.
“Although there was a lot of negativity around the road to Calabar, that will generate income in terms of ports. They will connect the two ports now to the other one. It will also ease transportation to the East in ways that we can’t even start to reckon with.
” So, I think that the economic stability cannot be underestimated because when people can predict income and exports, they do it, things get better because then you are not buying something at one price because of the dollar instability, and having to sell, buying it at a higher price, and then it changes everything.
“There are also some improvements in security, mainly because now we have a lot of collaboration going on. The international collaboration, the President’s visit to different countries for trade and economic development, is rising. And that is the key to everything we do. I think that does.” https://thenationonlineng.net/stabilisation-of-naira-big-plus-for-tinubus-administration-obasanjo/

Politics › ADC May Go Down As The Most Useless Political Organisation In Nigeria’s History. by blamingthedevil(op): 9:39am On Mar 01 |
ADC may go down as the most useless political organisation in Nigeria’s history. Instead of preparing ahead and getting to work, they are everywhere complaining that they cannot commence e registration because of time. PDP, APGA, and other parties have launched their e registration without drama. It is not as if ADC has more members, more reach, or more complexity than PDP. If serious parties can adjust, incompetence should not be rewarded with sympathy. https://x.com/HighChiefOkoro/status/2027991558109139372

Politics › Nigeria’s GDP Rate Grew By 4.07% In Q4 2025 by blamingthedevil(op): 6:09pm On Feb 27 |
Nigeria’s economy grew by 4.07 per cent year-on-year in real terms in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025.
This is according to the latest Gross Domestic Product (GDP) report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Friday.
The growth rate represents an improvement from the 3.76 per cent recorded in the corresponding period of 2024, signalling a stronger year-end performance.
The latest data also shows improved contributions from agriculture, industry, and oil, while the services sector retained its position as the dominant driver of output.
What the data is saying The NBS report shows broad-based expansion across key sectors of the economy in Q4 2025.
Growth was supported by stronger performances in agriculture, industry, oil, and non-oil activities compared to the same period in 2024.
Real GDP grew by 4.07 per cent in Q4 2025, up from 3.76 per cent in Q4 2024, while full-year growth stood at 3.87 per cent compared to 3.38 per cent in 2024.
Agriculture expanded by 4.00 per cent, industry by 3.88 per cent, and services by 4.15 per cent, with services accounting for 55.92 per cent of total GDP in the quarter.
In nominal terms, GDP stood at N122.81 trillion, marking a 17.55 per cent increase from N104.48 trillion recorded in Q4 2024.
Average daily crude oil production was 1.58 million barrels per day, higher than 1.54 million barrels per day in Q4 2024 but below 1.64 million barrels per day in Q3 2025.
Overall, the figures indicate a steady improvement in economic performance compared to the previous year, despite mixed quarter-on-quarter outcomes.
More Insights The oil sector recorded a real growth rate of 6.79 per cent year-on-year in Q4 2025, reflecting a 4.71 percentage point increase from the 2.08 per cent posted in Q4 2024. It also improved by 0.95 percentage points compared to Q3 2025.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, however, the oil sector contracted by 6.30 per cent in Q4 2025. For the full year, oil sector growth stood at 8.50 per cent, higher than the 5.54 per cent recorded in 2024. The oil sector contributed 2.87 per cent to total real GDP in Q4 2025, compared to 2.80 per cent in Q4 2024 and 3.44 per cent in Q3 2025.
Overall, the sector accounted for 3.53 per cent of GDP in 2025, slightly higher than 3.38 per cent in 2024. The non-oil sector continued to anchor the economy, growing by 3.99 per cent in real terms in Q4 2025, compared to 3.80 per cent in Q4 2024 and 3.91 per cent in Q3 2025. Growth was driven by crop production, telecommunications, real estate, trade, financial institutions, construction, road transport, and food, beverage and tobacco manufacturing.
In real terms, the non-oil sector contributed 97.13 per cent to GDP in Q4 2025 and 96.47 per cent for the full year, underscoring its dominant role in economic activity.
What you should know Global institutions have expressed cautious optimism about Nigeria’s growth trajectory following the latest GDP data. Updated forecasts suggest sustained expansion over the medium term.
The International Monetary Fund projects Nigeria’s economy will grow by 3.9 per cent in 2025 and 4.2 per cent in 2026.
The World Bank has maintained its 4.4 per cent growth forecast for Nigeria in 2027.
The World Bank upgraded Nigeria’s 2026 growth estimate to 4.4 per cent from 3.7 per cent projected in June 2025. These projections signal confidence in Nigeria’s medium-term prospects, even as structural and macroeconomic challenges remain.

Ofunaofu: Don’t post fake results emanating from the APC situation room.
Nigerians asked for the electronic transmission of election results from polling units to be made mandatory. The Tinubu-led APC regime said no, citing insecurity in nine states, a national grid shutdown, and network issues. Yet here they are, setting up situation rooms with internet access to collate what exactly?
Obviously, to generate fake results and spread them around to create confusion.
