qtguru: Your profile is already good, it's just that the niche you serve is saturated, I do mostly Enterprise platforms and core programming so I avoid some webdev like html, css gigs, if you were tied to a platform like WordPress or something using those same webdev skills, you'd thrive plus Upwork is not the same as before too. What do you mean not the same as before I’m a bit experienced in Wordpress so I should niche myself more in Wordpress? And can i see your profile? |

so once i do so i would be getting my funds immediately? yMcy56: Your account is probably in DCS mode We've talked about this issue extensively here, more reason it's good to try and read past pages of this thread, it's rich with info if you can sieve thru it.
Contact your broker to send DCS Form (Direct Cash Settlement Form) to you, fill and submit back to them for processing. Tell them you don't want Direct Cash Settlement.
The fund you referred to will be paid by CSCS after T+3days. |

how do you source for info and what type of info are usually good signs? KarlTom: We talk about spread and diversification. Personally, I feel we are all traders (directly or indirectly) with one aim: make money with minimal risk.
I have always said that I do not do TA or FA (and I am not willing to start learning). I rely more on getting information before it is released to the market. Once I have info, I go BIG. This way, I make more in a short time with minimal risk compared to waiting months for appreciation or DIV.
Regardless of how we put it, NEWS is what moves the market (reports, board changes, acquisitions etc)

how do you manage 50 assets tho? and your core assets are they dividend generating or capital appreciation stocks? RodgersAkpafu: exactly 💯
So let's say hypothetically N50m is my NAV
45m is the core 5m will be for the rest The 90% will always cover the 10 And inside that 10%, there are always those one off bounces (like what caverton did for me this year ) That kind of thing |

Anybody? Blaqq2: Pro's in the house lets say you technically have 100k per month to invest in stocks what strategy is best
buying multiple stocks and increasing them gradually each month or focus on a single stock per month? |

designking: It will depend on your investment goals. Are you looking for long term growth or short term growth? Do you want dividends? Yes I would love to have dividends and also capital appreciation Long term investments is my main goal but no one would say no to short term with profits |

Thank you RodgersAkpafu: I don't know what your definition of "lots of capital is" But let's just say that if I get a 10% haircut, the tears go surplus lol
Let's leave it at that
however, to answer ur second question... The most important step in a journey is when you start. One has to start from somewhere to get there.... The market is for everyone |

you must have a lot of capital for not being greedy RodgersAkpafu: I have a funny way of investing 😄 When I see decent "paper profits" .I always see the need to capitalise them
The format has worked for me for years Future cashflows can be used to enter again later
My philosophy has always been: To average down and bring cost basis low is always better than losing unrealised gains
It sounds somehow but that's how I play on another note i heard in another forum that if you dont have 10m+ stocks is not for you? is that you guys philosophy too? |

Share price / EPS Capitas7: Kindly share what parameters were used to arrive at this? Or the reasons. The venture is benefitting greatly from the low cost of sales that it's businesses enjoy. Things would have been worse otherwise. Simple metrics such as revenue growth, earnings growth, etc.have not been looking good for some time. |
