That should be
Cad $1= 230.

Still too high. If I'm sure that I will get it at a reasonable rate in Ghana or Togo,i won't mind. Has anyone here bought his dollars from Togo or Ghana?
when I paid 100CAD I was charged 26k

Let me set the facts straight so you understand...

Okay with my very low CGPA I applied for a PGD program. The school got back to me and offered me other options. Their reason was, they were not offering PGD in that school year I applied for. I contacted the school and "a guy (I also met him in person later when I moved here)" spoke to me and advised me that System Science was suitable for my grade. EBT was part of the programs that were offered. I opted for System Science which I'm currently studying and in my second year.
God bless u bro for this comment. but I know of someone that applied for a PGD program in UniOttawa for Project management and he wasn't given an offer. he got 3.30 CGPA. I even told him to screen shot the mail to me.

Yep, you can get a master's admission with that CGPA (though it would require an amazing application as well as a strategic choice of schools). uOttawa on their website somewhere states that they accept 2:2 for some programs (e.g. Electronic Business Technologies and some other programs). @MichaelFinn a long time ago (part 8, I think) got admission to uOttawa with a 2.54 CGPA. I can also imagine that some other schools with a 2:1 requirement may accept a 2:2 student with an extremely good application (excellent recommendation letters, relevant work experience, extraordinary SOP, personal contact with the admissions office, etc).

Your work is cut out for you, but you can do it!

What is your course of interest?
... I was so inquisitive I had to confirm from Uni Ottawa site for electronic business technology. bros abeg no school in Canada accepts less than a 2.1 for masters and the 2.1 must be a very strong one except are ready to keep spending 26,000 naira = 100 Canadian dollars to each schools. 3.73 is almost 3.75 CGPA so he could try out some schools but my bro e too hard walahi. I'm just been very sincere with u

This is false information. My CGPA was lower than 2.9 and I got admission for a masters program in canada. The chances are slim but not impossible
2.90 and you got masters admission? what year, course and how did u do it? cos schools in Canada aren't accepting anything less than 3/4 which is equivalent to 3.75 CGPA for masters. so I'm still wondering how u got a masters program admission with 2.90 CGPA if truly. pls enlighten us. it would be highly appreciated

Sure they will evaluate you using your undergrad degree. But if u have some work experience from naija added to your pgd certificate, you can get a Masters. Infact i got a Masters admission this winter even though I first came in for a post graduate certificate course and minimum requirement was 2:1, but my bsc was 2:2

I know it's God's favour. But I also submitted my first semester post graduate certificate transcript which was all As, and got admitted. Currently doing my masters now.

So don't discourage anyone. If u can come in with post graduate certificate then do, but make sure u do very well so that ur grades, along with your Bachelor's degree can upgrade ur chances of getting a masters admission.

My 2 kobo grin
.... @ nitajj pls could you send me your email address or send me a mail.. I really need to ask some things from you. I would really appreciate it bruv

HELLO GUYS!!! I NEED SOME URGENT REPLIES/SUGGESTIONS. I WOULD SO APPRECIATE IT PLS.....
I studied chemical engineering with a CGPA 3.45. I opted in for a PGD program in Engineering and Technology management ( project management). I wasn't offered an admission . the agent told me he also applied for some people with way lower CGPA and they gained admission. I really dunno what the problem could be. I wanted to apply for chemical engineering or a very good engineering-related course but I was told there was no way I could get it on PGD basis. I was also told that most people studying engineering in colleges are advanced diploma programs and are not post graduate programs. I really need a very good engineering course that's related to chemical engineering for PGD that I could use later as a step for masters in chemical engineering, cos I was also told that dose running advanced diploma programs can't use it for a step up for masters programs. pls how true is this and pls I need you guys to suggest for me a very good engineering related course. I need it ASAP. I've just bin disappointed for admission for fall semester.
