Thank you for your response but the difference is that mine is for a different semester, so Imagine I go with the 2nd school, my admission letter is dated August 26, my TRV was issues August 14, wont they notice the dates, how did my TRV com before the admission?

Also, if I say, they gave me a different letter after I applied, won't they ask me where the first one is?

i suggest you defer the other admission to January so u could go to Waterloo . For winter admission..

i have not gone against any study program level one chooses.individual profiles are dissimilar, study is study if only the Vo could concur with your study reasons if chosen respectfully

Now it's clear this people dey delay pgd/pgc applicants for no tangible reason. Everytin about ur application is perfect from wwhat you've listed; finances, job prospects after ur prog,travel history, relationship btw ur previous program,job and ur proposed program. Nawa for CIC.
Na to use your visit visa enter and change ur status be d surest tin b4 ur visa expires. No dull ur self bro

that program is an advanced diploma program not PGD. advanced diploma programmes are lower than Bachelors degree which you already have. probably that's the reason behind their delay. but these days dey delay and reject PGD and PGCerts with reckless abandon... dunno why.. but as for the program you chose, it sends a bad signal to the VOs cos it's lower than your first degree

lies..PGC/PGD is the categorized issue here even if processing time is 20 weeks sef still masters are being responded to in 6-11 weeks mostly!.To all rather than saying they are treating you unjust and unfair compared to masters because you got to provide evidence oo no be mere say talk oo ,i feel the right sentimental word to use is i feel we are being MARGINALIZED amidst the other levels of study program.study is study as long as i have my reasons.Masters sef na even paper work.mbok!after na masters go come for office they seek for my techical/practical knowledge in solving critical issues

Durham too is an option but I don't want 1 year course, 2 years so I can get PGWP, I no go like come back this hell hole. People with the highest cisco cert, ccie sef dey find job

advanced diploma is far different from PGD or PGC. advanced diploma programmes are even lower than BSc

My fellow Nairalanders, who knows a lot about the course " Remotely Operated Vehicles " in Canada?. I heard it's a hot cake, University of Newfoundland offers it. A friend of mine drew my attention to this course in 2015. it's an offshore thing.

You will just notify CIC of the change of DLI. Please check the school website for any rules and deadline that has to do with withdrawing and refunds.

@ uchethalia he has already made a part payment of 10,000CAD. cancelling the admission isn't the main issue. getting back the money he had already paid I believe is what the poster is trying to know about. I would advise u go for environmental engineering in uni Ottawa but how do u get back the money is the problem here

8 months ago,tuition fees of $15000 was 15000*155 = 2325000.
Now,tution fee of $15000 will be 15000*230= 3450000

Just imagine the difference.

bro I totally understand ur frustration and we share the same sentiment. when I used the GTBank ATM and I was charged 26k for 100CAD I was shocked to the marrow. paying the tuition would about 1.1mil difference. God would save us all. but if going to a neighboring country would yield a lower exchange rate , then it's worth it bro. but I'm not sure it's possible to get a lesser rate.. pls if possible, someone should quickly alert us on this thread.
