Everyday, it becomes more glaring that this man is senile. |
Lost credibility |
LOL!! ...and the mumu citizens sey there dey look like mumu?? |
True inflation is about 150% I have said it many times here, its either Tinububis using one kind jazz to hold people down or Niherians are just too stupid to see what Tinubu is doing to the economy. Otherwise they shoukd have been on the streets protesting since last year. |
Eeyah!! Who do Nigeria this thing?? To think there would be an administration worse than that of Buhari, is shocking to me. Despite all the noise about "strategist" ...",thinking capacity"......"technocrats" ..."hit the ground running from day 1"......this is the best they can do ?? |
Imagine ![]() See how lowly they take the citizenry.....no be their fault...na when those ones dey mumu dey look dem |
...sucker!! You will soon beg Buhari to come back...I give you till end of 2024 when the actual inflation and the effects of the stupid economic policies of this senile one comes home to hit all of you hard in Nigeria cyberstarr: |
I have said it many times here......it appears people have not realised the biggest problems they have in Nigeria now, with the thoughless devaluation of the naira.....wait till end of the year before you people start eating yourselves alive on the streets.. This current president is the worst since 1999. |
I am happy people realising this President is a fraud.... His administration is doomed!!! |
musings of an "oponu" Dadadididacontr: |
That guy is a road side political commentator...he knows nothing DeepsightX: |
It makes certain that Nigeria is full of dafts and they only selected the worsts of the dafts to lead them when you read statements like this(bold). There were lots of choices open to the buffon other than To start with, anyone who believes that the Naira was floated is not only myopic, but, completely out of touch with international economics to understand the true meaning of floating. Anyways, the World Bank have debunked the "floating" nonsense and have called it systemic devaluation(February 2024). Only a buffon would think that what happened in January 2024 when the Naira depreciated spyrally as floatation(when the CBN claimed, through I&E market, that there was a glitch in their method of calculating the exchange rate and as such the naira was overvalued so it was devalued further). The World Bank called this out, the mainstream media, still in the euphoria of "EMILOKONICS" were not keen to give that adequate headline. It was devalued to attract foreign investors to Nigeria, according to the Minister of Finance There were lots of choices in June 2023, it was just that the senile one wanted to lay claim to an "emergent and brave reformer" and decided not to think deeper before implementing shortsighted advices. Their thoughts were that the exchange rate will hike up for some short while and return to 700/800ish......its now 1500ish and growing. They gambled and it failed woefully kunle4toyeyaho: |
You guys dibt get it...Naira was not floated. World Bank had debunked that since March 2024.....it was deliberately further devalued in Jan 2024 to attract foreing investors according to the Minister of Finance CrownedPhoenix: |
LOL..blaming Buhari and Jonathan for Tinubus cluelessness and stupidity EreluRoz: |
If he likes, let him reshuffle his wife and children, his administration is doomed. The moment he accepted to devalue the Naira, he lost all. He can never recover again. He is a failure. |
...and this man is somebody's father like this? This man was highly regarded during June 12 and anti Abacha movement then. To allow himself to be reduced to a mere errand boy for Ajuri Ngelale, someone young to be his grandchild is beffudling. |
Dey there dey wait......na there you go grow old adioolayi: |
So says the region that has voted orji uzor kalu perpetually, nzeribe continously till he was tired, so says the region that presented people hope uzodima, nanamani, mbadinoju, etc, for positions. I'm an anti Tinubu, for wrong policies, I never supported Obi nor Atiku because they are all from same can of paint.... but clearly tribalising any argument is not only daft but completely irrelevant. ...by the way, statistic is not authentic.... Medipharm: |
Probably for supporting him publicly. Soyinka fell from a national hero who fought for right ideals to someone who curries favour in order to eat. ....and I am from the same town as Soyinka...so no those IPOB or Obidient bull shit |
Nonsense talk. Then remain there and continue to blame Buhari while the country's economy rots in your own face. Did Buhari devalue the naira without thinking about it, just to claim a bold reformer?? By the way, Tinubus administration also borrowed from the Ways and means last year, and, as we are going, he will likely borrow more once the options of foreing loans run dry. frog12: |
LOL.....another misdirected approach..... ....anyway, some people want to cash out. They have sold the idea to the dunderhead, senile certificate forger....he has asked for 10% of the returns...he must now sell it to the mugu populace....maliam mingus of Niherians...over to you |
Lol....imagine what is coming from a supposed "intellectual" selected by a so called "strategist" to manage the monetary part of the country ![]() Run ooo!!! Nigeria is in the hands of kalokalo economists Get out while you can |
I have said it many times here. If people open their eyes and can objectively take a look at what Tinubu has done to the economy with those stupid economic decisions, the streets should have been on fire long ago. This guy killed the Nigerian economy papapata...im shocked that Nigerians have not realised it yet.....wait till the full effect of inflation loads in by end of 2024. |
Out of all the multitudes commenting on this topic...only this guy get brain. Give 500k per month as the minimum wage, the impending inflation will swallow all of that up in a few months. Those policies are killing the buying power and leading economy to recession The biggest mistake was devaluing the currency with no back up plan. His administration is plagued and doomed for ever. Helpfromabove1: |
Comments here show the people are more stupid than their rulers. Oil sales that have been contracted for next 5 years. Watch out the next headlines on this subject....it will be like ..."Oil companies have no oil to give local refineries" ....Oil companies ask FG to fund Oil sales to local refineries....etc..etc.. It won't work. You can't get a revenue from Oil sales into the future as agreed and use it collect loans under very stupid terms and then ask me to divert same encumbered oil to local refineries... |
You mean, people still listen to this shameless criminal?? Only in Nigeria. Not surprised though, if a "suspected" criminal/drug bagman could find his way to the highest seat in the land.....what else would surpise me. Value system!! |
Honestly, it's appearing like Nigeria selected its worst idiots among the nation of 200m idiots, to be their leaders. How can you regulate the prices of items you never raised capital to import? The importers go to the banks to get loans at deregulated rates(30-40%) .... buy a "deregulated" forex to import ....pay deregulated shipping fees ...pay a deregulated import duties ....pay deregulated in country transport fees(buoyed by a "deregulated" fuel price, according to a loudmouthed leader) to move the food items to the market... ...but then the prices they sell to the market must be "regulated" by the govt" LOL!!! These people are confused...completely. Nigeria is in terrible hands |
LOL!!! ....Silver bullet indeed!(not sure you know the true meaning though). The one that has killed the economy and doomed his administration. Nigerians and their victim mentality. Who are the "opportunists" that pounced?? Whenever things go awry after a stupid and thoughtless gamble, Nigerians begin to look for villains to blame. They never admit they were wrong. It is in our psyche. The subsidy is back and bigger, surreptitiously, and the government is not denying that, it has only kept mum. What is worse, the current government is borrowing at very terrible terms to sustain the subsidy. On the devaluation, as mentioned several times by the Finance minister it was done to attract foreign investors, their expectations were that it would bounce back within a few months and settled around 700/800(both the Finance Minister and CBN Governor said this several times). It is obvious that was a gamble went awry. It was not a well thought out plan. These are not reforms, these are kalokalo economics with the hindsight of wanting to claim reformer without studying what was really on ground. For instance, which serious government decides to devalue(they called it "floating" but that had been debunked) without putting in adequate measures to de-dollarise local transactions. In an economy where the local currency plays a second fiddle to the dollar only an idiot will attempt to float its currency against such...the demand for the dollar will outstrip the local currency in one month if both are left to fight it out without protecting the local currency through monetary policies first, especially when there was so much naira in circulation because of excessive printing(ways and means) . Currently, a lot of transactions in Nigeria are conducted in USD despite all the noise by CBN. Not even a fresh university economics gradauate as an adviser will dare attempt to stake against the dollar that without clearing the mess in the econmic ecosystems first. ? All the high rise buildings owned by foreign investors around ikoyi, where Tinubu's private residence is, are all billed and leased in USD and nothing will be done. School fees are demanded in USD in Nigeria and nothing can be done to stop that...yet you decided to"float" your currency against such a system?..you are doomed from day 1. Isn't it funny that the current governemnet is doing the same thing or about to do the same thing that you accused Buhari of doing? a. Overloading foreign and domestic debts: The current government is doing worse. It has pushed Nigeria's Debt to GDP to 52% from 38% in just one year and the Debt to Revenue from 68% to 78% in one year(Source: DMO)...and this is rising b. Borrowing against future oil production: Recent publications shows that NNPL is going to borrow another $2bn from IMF/World Bank against future oil production at very terrible terms, much worse than under Buhari(Source: IMF/https://www.nairaland.com/8150331/rising-appetite-oil-cash-loans) c. Ways and Means: CBN report showed that Tinubu's administration has borrowed from CBN to finance its 2024 budget. Borrowing from CBN can only be through ways and means(Source: CBN Report for year end 2023/https://saharareporters.com/2024/04/27/how-tinubu-government-borrowed-over-n38trillion-nigerian-central-bank-six-months-report) d. Delay in Salaries: The retention of current minimum wage in the face of 200% inflation in prices of staples is criminal to put it mildly. e: Emefiele: The current CBN governor is worse. I dare say Emefiele was far better in managing the economy if not for his misadventure into politics to contest for presidency or being tricked to attempt to. He is paying for that now. The current Governor has no policy direction. He is lost. So, what else?? Those changes are eventually needed but not without deliberate steps and thoughtfulness...and certainly not hurriedly too...something Buhari realised but the "strategist" never did. His administration is doomed right from the start ...and Yes!!...Buhari was a hero as a president, compared to this one... no matter how odd that sounds. The streets will tell you so. ......"bravery is not the absence of fear...but in knowing when to strike without missing"...anonymous HomoDroid: |
Of all the leaders Nigeria had had, this fake "stategist" will end up being the worst. Mark this post. |
