And why is it that nobody is talking about the fact that Nigeria arbitrarily imposed a sweeping ban on the importation of a range of goods from ecowas countries, in blatant contrav3ntion of ecowas laws? That law was imposed by Obasajo and it is still in effect. Nobody is talking about that. Everybody is shouting Ghana has breached Ecowas protocol by kicking foreign retail traders out of its markets. Once again, those who come to equity must come with clean hands. I just don’t like this blatant hypocrisy. If Nigeria is doing something wrong, have the courage to say it.

What kind of human sees only the wrong others commit, but not the wrongs he or she commits? If this is not hipocrisy of the highest order, then what is it?

The ban is still in place today. Nobody in Nigeria complained that it was wrong. Yet when Ghana imposed a ban on retail trading for ALL foreigners, Nigerians are shouting all over the place.
