I have personally been to Borno state, to some of the key locations controlled by boko haram. I was there at the beginning when boko haram struck and have followed up with a couple of reconnaissance missions. I think you are overestimating the firepower and dexterity of the Nigerian army. I also don’t think boko haram is as lethal as you seem to suggest. We all know why the Nigerian army has failed to nip boko haram in the bud.

If you want to get a better sense of the operational competence of the Ghanaian army, I suggest you speak to a Nigerian military personnel. Ghanaian and nigerian soldiers work together in various operations around the world, so know eCh other very well. I think it will help to broaden your understanding of these issues better when you talk to your own soldiers who have had exposure to troops from Ghana, in ecomog, UN peacekeep8ng other international operations.
