Southern Taraba Academics' Forum held their Annual Summit on peace and educational development of southern Taraba, which was chaired by Rtd Justice of the Supreme court (per Justice Paul Adamu Galumje Rtd).
The chairman southern Taraba Academic Forum Dr. David Agbu Esq. Who also is the HOD Private & Property Law, delivered a stupendous welcome address. In his address he said and I quote. "I am highly delighted to welcome you all to yet another milestone in the history of Southern Taraba Academics' Forum. I wish to sincerely appreciate our invited guests for taking time out of their very tight yuletide sessions schedule to honor our invitations. Our much esteemed members are equally much appreciated for their spirit of commitment, as well as to be around to partake in this epoch making summit". It is imperative to inform us that the theme for this year's summit titled, "Implication of Peace on Educational Development in the Southern Taraba Area" is in accordance With the cardinal objective of our forum. This is particularly in view of the on-going very disturbing and shameful Tiv-Jukun conflict in the zone.
A brief keynote address by also delivered by Prof Sangari Dalhatu (former senator and prof. NSUK.
The V. Chancellor Federal University Wukari, Prof Musa Kundiri was highly represented by the DVC Admin. Prof Rev. Fr Anthony Bature who made a paper presentation on the topic"Implication of peace on educational development of southern Taraba".
Also at the summit was Prof. Ebenezer Ekefan of Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi who also made a presentation on the topic"The Role of youth at educational stability".
Present at the summit were personable personality as follows, Senator Dr. Emmanuel Bwacha, senator representing Southern Taraba, Danjuma Shishi Shiddi member representing Wukari/Ibi Federal constituency, Prof. Sunday Bako V. Chancellor Kwararafa University Wukari, Dr. Aboki Salla registrar FUW, Prof. Anthony Baro former registrar TSU Jalingo, Dr. Akumbor and many other Academicians, business men/women.

There was this beautiful beans and guineacorn farm I used to admire whenever I was passing by near my Abuja home. Lo and behold a certain morning I couldn't recognize the farm any longer. It was like a field, cows ate up everything. I pitied the farm owner because I saw him weeding the farm a month ago. All his labour is now in vain. With all these what would motivate me to go into farming?

I know how this feels, sorry about this... I had similar experience until I planted certain plants like nightshades and kenaf which are toxic to cows (once they smell it they avoid the environment) I also put animal traps and kept a no cows sign on the farm... Plant the kenaf and the nightshades around your farm to form a fencing and you'd worry less about them. Really sorry about this man.

Very unfortunate for me today when I went to pick my beans only to see how it was all eaten by cows. I planted 1 and half basket, hoping to harvest at least 4-5 bags because of how the bean produced so well. Since the lockdown, the farmland is the only investment and achievement I have. I have invested all I saved for school during the lockdown.
All th money went in vain,
All the energy vanity.
When will this country be free from all these please?
