Health / Re: Why Porn Is Ruining The Lives Of Men by Blessedarethepe(m): 9:35am On Mar 09
Coolboy009:

No, it does not have the same effect, the reason is this. The major cause of the addiction is the porn. Porn scenes are hyper-stimulating triggers that lead to unnaturally high levels of dopamine secretion. So when you are having normal sex with a partner, your body naturally secretes normal dopamine. And even if u are having too much sex with a partner, you can only experience sex exhaustion in which your body can naturally recover if you pause for some time, rest and eat good food. Also, note that whenever you have natural sex with a partner, you feel satisfied, happy and relaxed. (Feeling like a champion..lolz) This will boost your self-esteem and your overall mental health. On the other hand, if you masturbate to porn after the act, you will start feeling guilty, regretful and sad which will lead to depression and your overall mental health is messed up. So the effect is not the same.

Guilty, regretful and sad for what reason?? I slightly disagree that people feel this way though.

So guys, SHARE if you feel this way after watching porn or masturbating. And LIKE if not.

Health / Re: Why Porn Is Ruining The Lives Of Men by Blessedarethepe(m): 11:07pm On Mar 08
Coolboy009:
Bro you are wrong, according to research, 78% of men do practice masturbation. And they are not all necessarily idle or they don't have a partner. The problem is addiction. Once you are addicted to masturbation and porn just like other addictions, it is not easy to quit. And this is why is not easy; when you are addicted your brain is used to the release of excess neurotransmitter called dopamine, which is responsible for pleasure. The more erotic the porn you watch is, the more dopamine your brain release. As time goes on the level of dopamine in your body will start dropping (because you are burning more than what your body can replenish) and once that happens you will no longer have pleasure in doing what you used to enjoy doing, like social activities or other important activities in your life. So you will always want to go and watch more hot porn and masturbate to it because that is the only activity that can stimulate ur already depleted dopamine. At this level, you will no longer enjoy normal sex with ur partner like before, or you might not even have an erection at all. Addiction is bad
since the problem is over secretion of dopamine in the body, can having sex too much have the same effect since it is also secreted during normal sex

BigBashiru:

The white man considers Nigeria's crude oil as theirs which they refine in Europe to power their industries and for domestic use in filling stations. Any attempts to halt supplies to Europe may lead to NATO intervention in Nigeria to remove that government under the pretence of installing democracy and protecting civilians. And since most Nigerians are white worshippers, they will support such actions.
despite the supplies made to Europe, can't they offer to supply to Dangote Refineries?
And how did you think the Europe see the crude oil as theirs? It is obviously wrong for them to assume that. And I would love it if you can tell me more things to convince me and other readers more. While I believe international trade is necessary between countries because of interdependence of human beings, it should not be seen as a means to exploit.

You don't have understanding of the UK Law
As she chased him out of the house, he must still continue to pay the house rent of about 1000 Pounds every month, pay child support for feeding, maybe 500 Pounds. Meanwhile his salary maybe just 2500 Pounds.
All these will be deducted from his salary direct from Bank, unless he relocate to Nigeria where such law is not applicable.
Very soon UK will request for agreement with Nigeria, especially now that we have BVN/NIMC, so that they can track and still force you to pay even if you run to Nigeria
that looks like everlasting suffering for Nigerian men o

The subsidy money?

Which subsidy money
Have you invested any time to do any research on what is The problem?

Keep

The SUBSIDY money

There is no subsidy money anywhere
The goverment budgeted money for subsidy till May 2023
They did not pay one kobo in 2023 because they could not find any money and the only option was to borrow

So even the subsidy till May 2023 is still owed to NNPC
It has not been paid till now

IMF. refused to lend them any money until they stopped subsidy

There is no subsidy money anywhere
You better update your knowledge and stop being deceived
The government is funding almost everything with borrowed money.

Buhari even sold oil that is still in the ground and used the money so oil that was produced to the end of 2023 and most of 2024 has already been sold and the money spent by Buhari.
You are still talking of

Career / Re: Employers May Lay Off Workers Amid Worsening Economy – NECA by Blessedarethepe(m): 6:35pm On Feb 19
nairalanda1:

Reducing cost of governance is good, but it won't make things better.

Reducing cost of governance won't change the fact that as at May 28th 2023, we had debt servicing eating up 90-100% of our income and also had an effective forex revenue of up to 4 billion dollars.

The truth is, we were in a mess. Reducing cost of governance would add a few hundred millions of dollars, when we need tens of billions of dollars.
Even if the cut will only generate little money, would it not have been better than the present administration?
And I'm sure he would even borrow more money to enhance production rather than using it to buy automobiles, and unnecessary things. Even his presence will make investors to come in, and even the joy of his presence as the president will make people more cooperative. From day one, people have not been really interested in the present administration.

Those shouting Peter Obi up and down as if he has magic wand what would Obi had done differently? Peter Obi that failed in Anambra is who they are comparing with a man that set the template for modern Lagos. Even if the price of cement is 50k, we will continue to pray for and support the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu
One thing I believe he could do, is to reduce the cost of governance. Reduce the salaries and eliminate allowances paid to political officers.
