Yes, the CHURCH has been in existence BUT the members of the church were first called CHRISTAINS at Antioch.
Let me relate it to our secular world:
Nigeria gained INDEPENDENCE in 1960 BUT became a REPUBLIC in 1963.
Therefore, Christainity formally started at Antioch just as Nigeria formally started in 1963.

The latter part of Acts 11:26 says, "And the disciples were called Christains first in Antioch."
Conclusively, we can arguably say that Christainity started at Antioch.
