Are cars imported from cotonou custom certified?
I have heard several cases of cars smuggled through cotonou and was siezed while the owner is travelling.

A-town,
Don't let me believe you're one of the people we are rebuking.
Anyway, if this administration really want to control the quality of education, is it the tuition fee that should be increased? I don't think President Yaradua and his VP are good lecturers who really know the plight of the Nigerian youth.

This is a common problem with some Nigerians, until we change our mindset and quickly identify that which is good, we may keep voting for wolves who always pretend to be sheep at first. I asked a simple question about what Hon. S M Eyiboh has done, but not even one was mentioned.
If Gov. Fashola can do this much in barely 2 years, I strongly trust him that he will do much more before he accomplish his tenure as governor.
You cannot expect him to do everything at a time, all these things takes little time and since I was born, I have never seen any government who moves as fast in terms of great policies, infrastructural development like Gov. Fashola.
The Ajegunle issue you are talking about is a matter of time. There will be attention.
Mind you, this government has budget based on the revenue they have at hand. By the way, HAVE YOU PAID YOUR TAXhuh Go to Lagos Island, Yaba, Mushin, Ojuelegba, and several other places.
Let's embrase change and whoever does well is our messiah. If we find anyone who has done so much more than this man, I will talk about him same way. Afterall, I don't know any of them from adam. But, ", by their fruit we shall know them
DON'T VOTE CARELESSLY IN THE NEXT ELECTION!
,  It is well with Nigeria

How many bills has he sponsored or supported to improve the well being of his senatorial district and Nigerians or what has he done to positively affect the life of common man. We are sick of all these 'same of the same'.
The only person I can campaign for, without collecting a penny is 'MR. RAJI FASHOLA' We have seen his works in Lagos State. Definitely, he can make a drastic change in Nigeria in just 4 years.  "by their fruit we shall know them and by their works, they will be judged"

AutosCars From Cotonou Vs Customs by blessedfem(op): 3:40pm On Jul 04, 2009
Dear Nairalanders,
I noticed that most cars that came from cotonou are not cleared by customs because they're smuggled into the country. I have also visited the customs office at ikeja where I found thousands of impounded cars.
I am therefore skeptical about buying cars from cotonou. Kindly educate me more about the risk involved.
Thx.
