Before marriage, I felt women loved marriages. After getting married, I discovered women love weddings, not marriages. There is a difference.

Marry your friend. Friendship with your partner is more important than love for your partner. Nothing beats rest of mind. Marriage as practiced in this part of the world has little benefits to the man apart from procreation.

5. Your advice to bachleors based on your experience.
Don't let anyone force you into marriage.
Don't overspend on your wedding. If your wife wants something classy, tell her to draw up a list and give her family. I was stupid to spend almost 5M on mine.
Don't marry a lady you can't reason with. Don't marry a lady who doesn't earn her own money.
Look at how your wife's mother treats her father. That is exactly how she will treat you.
Divorce is always an option.
