geeetee:Please do not, I repeat DO NOT make the mistake of using Fibernet broadband. They are a fraud and they will frustrate you to the point that you will no longer bother about the service you paid for. You will just consider it a loss and move on without getting your money’s worth. Their level of incompetence is simply alarming and I hope the NCC investigates them and shut them down for fraud. Imagine paying for a 6 months plan and yet I barely get 10 days of internet in a month? Their disruptions are so consistent and the customer care will keep apologizing every time you remind them you have no internet yet they will do nothing about it. Imagine a customer care that send me an email saying my ticket is closed because my issue has been resolved after 4 days of complaining that I have no internet? The worst thing is they have no refund policy so your money has been forfeited. Don’t make the same mistake myself and many others who have complained on this platform made. |
This is me coming back a month later to tell you that there have been no improvements in their service. Please avoid Fibrenet no matter how tempting their offers may seem. Don’t make the same mistake I made |
Fibrenet is a scam. I wish I saw the posts others made on this forum before I renewed my subscription for their 6 month plan. I haven’t had internet for a week after I paid the 6 months re-subscription and till today no effort has been made to resolve the problem. Customer care keeps promising that something will be done until recently, they stopped responding. The worst thing is that they do not have a refund policy which means if nothing is done, I have forfeited my payment for 6 months with no service rendered. I heard they were doing free installation and so I decided to pay for their plan due to the fact that someone in my estate had been using the service. After the installation I experienced internet blackouts from time to time. Unlike MTN and Airtel whose internet can be slow when there is a network problem, during these frequent fibrenet black outs, you wouldn’t even be able to access the internet for hours, sometimes for days because their router will be blinking red. The question you might want to ask is that if I experienced these internet outages for my first 6 months, why then did I resubscribe for another 6 months? This is where their carefully planned fraud was well executed! For the first 6 months, the internet blackouts barely lasted for hours, sometimes maybe a day or two. Afterwards they would apologize and say that the issue has been rectified. I wasn’t still convinced so my plan was to try Lulifibre which is also available within my estate, once the initial 6 months with fibrenet ends. But to my utmost surprise, Fibrenet contacted me through email saying they would like to carry out a maintenance within my neighborhood to improve their service. After this, internet improved and the outages barely happened so I was deceived into thinking that they had resolved the problem which is why I decided to pay for another 6 months. Please I beg you, don’t make the same mistake I made! Do not entrust your money to fibrenet thinking that paying for a year or 6 months means you don’t have to bother about internet during that period! As soon as they are able to build trust they withdraw their services and since they have no refund policy, your money has been forfeited. This is a scam and a fraud and I hope the right authorities call them to account because for a week now, I haven’t had internet and all of a sudden I don’t get any mails or messages from them. Their customer care keeps telling me that they are going to attend to my matter shortly but at some point they refused to respond to me again. I don’t even know what to do at this point.

Fibrenet has been a very frustrating experience. After renewing a 6-month subscription, I’ve been without internet for a week, and despite repeated promises, customer support has not resolved the issue and has now stopped responding. With no refund policy, this means paying for a service that isn’t being delivered. I initially subscribed because of a free installation offer and a recommendation from someone nearby. However, the service was unreliable, with frequent outages where the internet would be completely inaccessible for hours or even days. Although the issues during my first 6 months were shorter and usually followed by apologies, things briefly improved after a claimed maintenance upgrade, which convinced me to renew my subscription for another 6 months. Unfortunately, the problems returned—this time worse—with prolonged downtime and no meaningful support. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others against committing to long-term plans, as the service may become unreliable and leave you without recourse. This is a scam and a fraud and I hope the right authorities call them to account because I haven’t had internet for over a week after I resubscribed and all of a sudden, I don’t get any mails or messages from them. Their customer care keep telling me that they are going to attend to my matter shortly, but at some point, they refused to respond to me again. I don’t even know what to do at this point.

I beg to disagree with you. This illusion that election is the path towards Nigeria's liberation is what has held us back and will continue to hold us back till we pass the baton of a failed state to the next generation. The democracy we practice in this side of the world is compromised and I can assure you that even your favorite candidate will be powerless to make impactful change with the system that is on ground today. The liberation of this country is in the hands of the common man who will hold their government accountable and exercise their right to protest and call for the resignation or the elimination of tyrannical forces who benefit from the underdevelopment of this country. Look at what is happening in Iran? If Nigerians choose to organize, mobilize and call for a change, our voices will be heard and you will be surprised at the kind of support that we will get from the rest of the world. But the question is that are we willing to pay the price to ensure that we get the change we truly desire? Are we willing to lay down our lives if need be, sacrificing the little benefits we have at the moment in order to secure the future of this nation? Until the will of the common becomes stronger than the will of those who want the status-quo maintained, no election will bring the kind of government to power that will transform the downward trajectory we are headed towards. Until the government that is in power understand that the people will not just sit behind their screens and watch them loot our common wealth and steal our hope without resistance, there should be no illusion of a better Nigeria. |
Thank you sir for your passion to see your brothers and sisters liberated. You have saved so many souls from the clutches of cultism and you have inspired many young people to channel their energy towards making Nigeria a better place. Your reward is not just in this life but in eternity and heaven will honor you. I am sorry to deviate a little from your post but I'm working on a project that was largely inspired by you and I would like to seek your blessings and consent to share some of your thoughts and experiences. I would have loved to send an email by Nairaland has limited my ability to do that. I would really appreciate it if we can get in touch. My email is blinxcavalli@gmail.com |

According to The African Apostles:Volume 1 (Patriarchs and Pacesetters), a book detailing the lives and times of great African preachers, in the late 1970s, Idahosa hosted TL Osborn, an American pentecostal Evangelist, and his wife, Daisy in Benin. They had stayed late ministering at the Miracle Centre of Church of God Mission just opposite the Benin Airport, and needed to catch their flight to Lagos which was supposed to be a connecting flight from Johannesburg to France, England and then the US. By the time Idahosa took his guests to the airport, they were told that the last flight for the day was overbooked. Not a single seat was available. The passengers had boarded and the flight about to take off. The jetliner had begun to taxi towards the runway. Idahosa’s new Mercedes was reported to have sped towards the tarmac and screeched to a halt in front of the plane. Benson Idahosa came out and waved at the pilot, and subsequently got audience with him and the passengers on board. “Excuse me friends, I have two of God’s special servants in my car. They must go to Lagos today on this plane. Two of you will get off now so God’s servants can board. God bless you,” Idahosa was quoted to have said. One man was said to have tapped his assistant and both gave up their seats for TL and Daisy Osborn. Idahosa reportedly stopped the first man in the aisle of the plane. He asked him: ‘Young man, what is your name and what do you do?’ “My name is Aliko Dangote and this is my assistant. I am a trader, a businessman,” the young man was quoted to have told Idahosa. “The world will get up for you. My God will bless you! God will take you and your business beyond Africa and bless you beyond measure,” Idahosa said to Dangote, and walked out of the plane “waving, with tears in his eyes”. |
