My stand on this is simple, NO to zoning. Have people not suffered enough? When will we start to favour competence and merit, ove ethnicity? I've got no problem whatsoever if the next Edo governor is Esan, but it should be because he/she is the best for the job, not because it was zoned to them.

Delta state is not different from other states that are not zoning. For peace to continue in Edo just zone. Find the best from that ZONE, simple.

The part in bold is fallacy. SW politicians don't have what it takes to end Nigeria. If they do, they would have ended Nigeria a long time ago. Awolowo never wanted Nigeria, he so much believed in having Oduduwa republic but North used another Yoruba man (Akintola) to neutralize and jail him. Tinubu once stated that he never believed in Nigeria and his sentiment is echoed by some other yoruba politicians but they can't do anything out of fear.

In fact, only Igbos and Ijaws and to an extent Tivs have tried in one way or another to redraw map of Nigeria.

If Igbos should a*slick Fulanis the way Yorubas do, and Yorubas try to break up Nigeria they will also face big challenges.

This one Nigeria can end only by politicians.

Nigeria is not working but Nigeria breaking will not happen because of these things U presumed. It will happen only if the Northern or South West politicians gets frustrated.

The only people from the SE, SS, SW or North that can force a break in this country are the politicians. The people, including Sunday Igboho, Nnamdi Kanu, Asari can never do it on their own.

Oga, I said we will prefer to stay alone. But if we must pick one side, we go with SE because the Yorubas are too close to the North and having the North with us will slow than progress. It will be another Nigeria when they keep channeling all the oil to far away North.

Evening everyone, I’m a young guy of about 22 and i graduated in 2021 from Delsu, after which I traveled to Cape Town last year and got a 3 years residency permit but I’m currently in Nigeria because the rent was too high and I wasn’t doing anything other than staying at home daily and money wasn’t coming in anymore like it used to so I went back to Nigeria.

Now I’m trying to figure out if it’s best I travel to Canada to further my studies basically work and study or stay back home here in Nigeria and start an extensive agricultural project; livestock’s & poultry(I’ve lands for that already)

Guys pls help me out I’m just so confused I just sit at home everyday doing nothing while I’m waiting for this Nysc letter it’s so boring.

Go abroad or do something else. Poultry is too difficult. How ever I have a beautiful business proposal for a tech company. If U are interested let me know. The business has already kicked started. So it's just you investing and working.

What im saying is that Yorubas have claims to Edo State and Delta State. Itshekiris are Yorubas, there is Olukumi another Yoruba clan in Delta state too and Benin are Yorubas cousins.
