Apple iPad Air 2 made a trip to the popular Geekbench benchmark and revealed juicy bits about itself. The freshly announced full-size tablet from Cupertino sports 2GB of RAM and rather curious 3-core CPU.


While 2GB of RAM are hardly a surprise due to a number of leaks that suggested the memory bump, the CPU setup surely is a curious one. Past iPad models have stuck to a dual-core CPU.

The Geekbench score is quite impressive too – it clearly indicates that the iPad Air 2 is quite a performer. We will reserve final judgments for our full review, but, at a quick glance, the 4477 score is the highest we’ve seen.

As part of preparations for the 2015 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in 13 states in the third phase of the exercise to begin on Friday, 7th November and end on Sunday, 9th November 2014.
Also, the Commission has approved Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in the third phase to begin on Thursday, 13th November and end on Monday, 17th November 2014.

The commission had completed the distribution of the voters’ cards in two phases earlier in the first and second quarter of the year.

The states involved are: Adamawa, Borno, Edo, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Plateau and Rivers.

The Commission had earlier conducted the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Phases I and II.

The states are: Taraba, Gombe, Zamfara, Kebbi, Benue, Kogi, Abia, Enugu, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa (in phase I). Those in phase II are: Yobe, Bauchi, Jigawa, Sokoto, FCT, Kwara, Anambra, Ebonyi, Ondo, Oyo, Delta and Cross River.

INEC in statement said that only those with Permanent Voters Card will be allowed to vote during the 2015 General Elections.

Voters are expected to cross-check their names in the displayed Voters’ Register. Those who registered before but do not see their names in the displayed register are to re-register during the Continuous Voter Registration exercise.

The CVR exercise is not for those who wish to transfer. Those wishing to transfer should write to the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in their new states of domicile, well before the election, as no transfer will be approved less than 30 days to the election.

Those who have lost their cards or whose cards are damaged may apply for them to be replaced by writing to the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) through the INEC Electoral Officer of the Local Government Area where they registered for their replacement well before the election. No replacement will be approved and no new card will be issued less than 30 days to the election.

All over the world its no more "News" that these two field of career are both professional fields especially when it comes to practicing it in full scale.

But its so saddening here in my country (Nigeria)
the way Medical Student (Pharmacists, Nurses, Medical Lab scientist and Doctors) are being given mouth watery treatment on NYSC service ground and the future Engineers are being treated like unintelligent-persons.

Infact in Benue State where I'm serving Med Guys are paid like 60k @ppa, 30k @state level followed with 3 bedroom flats of Doctors quarters (free of charge) and 19k of allawee compared with an Engineering Student sent to primary or secondary school with 2k@ ppa and just your 19k of allawee with no accommodation.

Even if you had a First Class(B.Eng) in school. With this sad experience I thing the Engineering Bodies in this country (NSE and COREN) are allowing our government to cheat us big time.

Med Guys make sure life of human is sustained but Engineers make life so comfortable for humans, we are everywhere doing great things all around the world...
