Lol no they won't, as long as it's not harmful and they know what it is (not dairy and other contraband). That's why I'm not sure they'll allow Orijin even if it's checked in, cos the ingredients aren't listed on the bottle. The "no liquid" thing is just so nobody has access to any substance that they can possibly use to blow up the plane

I did an upfront medical on June 8, hospital confirmed submission on June 10.
Biometrics on June 15
Medical mail July 22
Confirmation of medical mail(with upfront slip and CIC medical form attached)
sent by me to CIC as directed by the clinic on July 22 night.

***Till now, no medical update from CIC.
Pls, who else has been/is in this situation?
I'm more anxious now than I was for 5weeks waiting for my app to get to this stage.

I kinda had the same issue you have. I did upfront medicals in June but got the mail requesting for medicals d same date you also got your own mail.

I called Consultant Practice and they told me to send a mail to the embassy, which I did. When i saw the status hadn't changed i called Consultant Practice to verify the exact date they sent my medical result to the embassy. They told me. So I resent another mail to the embassy stating the day I did the medicals and the exact date the hospital sent the result to the embassy. I also attached the necessary documents (Receipts and all).
The status changed to 'Passed' last Saturday.

So I advise you resend stating exact dates. It's possible they by passed the mail or something. Hope this helps

I studied the book of Hebrews 12:1-13 and i learnt this from the passage:

-I understood that no matter what we are going through, Christ knows it all and He's more than capable to see us through. According to verse 2 let us all learn to fix our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.Vs 3 Basically encourages us not grow weary

-From Vs 5-6 i understood that God disciplines only those He loves...only His Sons. So if you are going through hard and trying times and maybe God has told you to endure it,just remember He loves you and hence disciplines you for a higher position. Vs 10 teaches us that God disciplines us so that we can share in His holiness

QUESTIONS

1. Vs 1a says (paraphrasing) ...."that we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses..." Who exactly are these witnesses?

2. Vs 1b says (paraphrasing)..."let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.." meaning there are sins that do not easily entangles? so there are like categories of sin or what? I thought sin was sin....i don't grab?? What exactly are the sins that entangles?


3.Vs 2 says (paraphrasing)..."Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith..." If Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith. It simply means those people who are faithless shouldn't be blamed right? Cause it's only Jesus that can originate faith in your heart and if there's no faith in your heart for some reasons then Jesus didn't author or originate it in your heart....right?

I personally love the book of Romans very much cause it’s like a book that talks to me individually and personally(Forgive my use of English). I studied or more or less read through Romans 8:1-17. I learnt a couple of things.

Lessons I learnt
I learnt from vs 7 that the sinful mind does not or cannot even submit to God’s law
Vs 11 I learnt that Christ Spirit gives life to our mortal bodies. if you have life in your mortal bodies then sickness should not be found in us at all, it is a foreigner to us.
VS 12 Makes me understand that only those who are led by the Spirit of God all called SONS of God, Have heard somewhere that we are all children of God. But only SONS are recognized, only SONS have inheritances, And when you are led by God’s Spirit then you are a SON of the Most High.
Vs 15 I learnt that we have not received a spirit of bondage to fear. Meaning there is a spirit behind fear and also meaning that fear is a bondage. We are not supposed to fear anything, no matter how mighty and scary or impossible it may look. Instead of Fearing it we are to Understand it. I personally, am afraid of the dark….lol. Don’t know why but I just don’t like when somewhere or someplace is completely dark, I just hate it,am always like “Why can’t everywhere be bright all the time??” But from what I understand here with Christ Spirit within us, we should not fear…or better still we have received the Spirit of adoption/ sonship and not of fear
Vs 17 Goes with an If, which am sure am just seeing. It says(paraphrasing) “if we are children then we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ…if we share in His sufferings” Meaning our just claiming we are heirs would never come to pass if we do not share in Christ suffering so as to also share in His glory too

QUESTIONS
1 1. Romans 8: 1 says (paraphrasing) “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…how? I don’t grab?

2 2. Rom 8:2 says (paraphrasing) “…through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death”…What is the law of sin and death? The 10 commandments? If the 10 commandments is the law of sin and death then why do we still obey it?

3 3. Did God know that the law would be powerless to save us? If He did why didn’t He just send His son initially, I mean immediately Adam and Eve fell?? Why wait for so long?

4 4. Vs 16 says(Paraphrasing) “…The Spirit Himself testifies with our Spirit that we are God’s children” How exactly does God’s Spirit testify with our own spirit?

5 5. Vs 7 says (paraphrasing) “the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law nor can it do so”….how? I don’t really grab. God’s law says do not steal, and there are some sinners that don’t steal…is that not submitting to God’s law?

6 6. Vs 17 tells us we are heirs Of God and co-heirs with Christ if we share in Christ sufferings. How exactly do we share in Christ sufferings?...maybe the first question should even be what exactly were Christ sufferings then how,(in practical) terms can we share in Christ sufferings?

Want you all to know that this questions were in no way set up to confuse you or to make you doubt God. But it was set up to answer some questions that we ourselves ask when we study the Word of God. At the end of the day, based on your comments I would try as much as possible to correctly answer the questions. Facts have emerged on the reasons the plane carrying the corpse of ex-Ondo State governor, Chief Olusegun Agagu, crashed on Thursday minutes after it took off from the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos.

While officials said the ill-fated aircraft carried only 20 people on board, a reliable aviation source disclosed on Friday that the plane might have crashed because it was "overloaded" in some other ways...

The plane had 20 passengers, 13 of which died while the seven others were left in critical conditions.

The top source, who pleaded not to be named because of the sensitive nature of the issue, told Nation that at the time of the crash, the plane had 5-hour endurance fuel, which constituted burden on the plane because it only needed just about a third of that quantity of fuel for a return trip from Lagos to Akure.

The expert said: “It is true that the plane is designed for 30 passengers and there were only 20 on board, but it was loaded with too much fuel, and that is professionally wrong. The aircraft had five-hour endurance fuel for a return journey that would not take more than one hour.


“Remember that the aircraft was also carrying a corpse, and you know that the weight of a corpse is more than that of a living person. This combined with the weight of the casket and the volume of fuel in the aircraft probably weighed it down as it approached the air.”

The foregoing, the source said, was compounded by the fact that the two engines of the aircraft might not have been in perfect conditions. Hence, when one of the engines packed up, the weight of the aircraft became too much for JUST one engine to carry.

“As it taxied for take-off, the pilot probably realised that the plane had lost an engine, but he believed that he was already at a point that we in the aviation sector call the “critical point of no return.” If he had aborted the flight at that point, the impact would have been much more.
