He obviously has multiple streams of income in his retirement and he's not saying no to any politician that decides to flash cash in his direction. If you are expecting him to say no to such offers, it only means u are moving away from the argument of him being an astute businessman to him placing morality above his income.

I wouldn't put gambling in the same category as cigarettes and alcohol, it's far more destructive in my opinion, I mean even India had to ban gambling. For me, it just shows a desperation / need for money which shouldn't be there if he truly had serious pepper.

Good thing u said it is Ur opinion which makes it highly subjective and not necessarily factual. The number of people who die from alcohol/smoking related illnesses on an annual basis definitely far outnumber those who die from health complications that may arise from losing money to gambling.

There are some places where the LG chairmen have been useless and the Legislator from Abuja that are using their constituency projects for the good of the people

I have seen Gbajas constituency and Adeola constituency projects and they looked impressive. I don't know what the LG chairmen of those areas did. Even if the chairmen are doing well, then the more the good projects, the merrier for the populace

There is nothing that said that the LG chairmen in Zamfara wont have spent money on cemetery as well. The Senator might have been a LG chairman who got promoted to Senator sef. Point is who get sense, get sense and who no get sense, No go get sense.

Probably the thinking of those who created the law is that the more outlet for people to get dividends of governance the better so if one is useless, Maybe at least 1 will be useful

Gbaja and Adeola are only able to do what they are doing because of the huge constituency allowance they are able to “ collobi “ .

Let that same amount be made available to the LGA without the state governor stealing out of it and u will be surprised the kind of projects they can come up with that will better the life of the people

I’m saying this as someone residing in a LCDA where the chairman has been executing projects that speaks to the actual needs of the people . I believe if the chairman has access to more funds without having to kowtow to Lagos state government he would even do better than whatever the law maker representing the constituency in Abuja can do for the people .

I’ve been offline and didn’t know anything about the spat between Omojuwa and Frank Edoho but this caught my attention .

I don’t think Frank’s live is frozen o; the guy is still making a decent and honest living off the camera and off social media savage replies .

I attended an evening event by a major company in the financial services early June at Lagos Oriental hotel and Frank Edoho was the compere . I don’t know how much they paid him but I’m sure he would’ve been paid his true and fair market value which certainly won’t be cheap .

Don J who was always bemoaning how Peter Obi didn't take hit the streets after the 2023 elections result was announced has forgotten how Buhari's loyalists turned the country upside down cos they believed he was rigged out in 2011. It's safe to say Obi learnt from past experience and chose peace over his personal ambition.

That's why I just laugh when I see people say Obi supporters are fascists.,..... Blah blah blah. They obviously didn't meet Buhari's core loyalists in their haydays in 2011
