MizMyColi:

Hello.

What is the site like?
Can you give a written description?
Has she been doing sitz bath?
Is she on the big side?

Yes she is on the big side...slightly though 80-90kg. she had two cuts during delivery...first child, and one of the cut has healed but the inner one hasn't. The inner part of the cut remains fresh...with some flesh hanging. One gynaecologist burnt off this hanging flesh 2 months back so the cut could heal properly, and even went ahead to apply silver nitrate but the cut haven't sealed up. The gynaecologist advised it might have to be resutured, but we really want to be sure.

I went through this. I had to have multiple antibiotic treatments and diflucan. Depending on a doctor's assessment, she may need to have it stitched again.

Thanks so much. Was your treatment in PH?

Please friends, I'll really appreciate if someone here can recommend a very competent gynaecologist or hospital in Port Harcourt or its environs, which can handle broken down episiotomy. One which has lasted for 5 months and has refused to heal. This is an urgent plea for help as it affects a loved one. Anyone who has gone through such challenge can give suggestions. Thank you and God bless.

Folks, don't be easily swayed by people's opinion. Everyone is entitled to one. Chimamanda's opinion is not law!

What he created is a walkie talkie, and it's mostly used in the military/paramilitary. He can't commercialize it, infact he can only use it within his domain.

there are stringent laws binding radio frequency allocation/usage, due to interference issues. He will need a license to operate it in a public domain.

Dream killers. Why can't you clap when someone else is succeeding? U just want to talk down the success. Even if it's a walkie talkie, what has anyone from your region invented? #Disgusted

As an independent cement distributor I can say there is an iota of truth in this gist, and Dangote is the instigator. Same thing he did to IBETO. That does not make him a bad entrepreneur anyway, it only serves as a warning to other competitors to keep their books in order.
However, the only difference between BUA and IBETO will be that he will not be put out of business like the latter, because he is a Northerner. Let's see how this unfolds.
Education / How Badmouthing Your University Can Backfire! by bluesaint(m): 2:45pm On May 31, 2016
We've all read and gotten advice about how badmouthing a current or previous employer can cost you your job or worse-future opportunities. Somehow we've failed to discuss the effects badmouthing your university can have on the value of your degree. I'm not saying everything you have to say about your university has to be peachy and positive, nor am I saying to censor yourself. After all, if you've truly had a terrible experience (the university refused to correct), or if your university behaves unethically, it is your duty to warn others before they fall victim as well.
However, there is a difference in sharing an isolated bad experience, as just that, one bad experience and badmouthing the university you've spent your hard earned money to attain a degree from. Every time a student from your university badmouths the school, the value of your degree diminishes.
Higher education, much like everything else in our society is a business. Your university is a brand. Potential students choose to attend or not attend based on that brand (more specifically, what they have heard about the school), just as future employers and corporate entities sometimes choose to recruit students from a specific university based on its brand.
When it comes to young alumni, with very little professional experience, recruiters are more likely to weigh their selection based on their knowledge of the university in which the prospect attended and how favorable they feel towards the school based on that knowledge.
Every time you or your classmates badmouth your university you are hurting the brand and damaging the value of your degree(s). That one comment you make can lead prospective students to change their mind about attending, cause enrollments to drop, leaving employers questioning the value of the education provided.
Look at what has happened across the country with for-profit institutions. "Some of the industry’s biggest players have made headlines in recent years for their poor performance, exorbitant pricing, and exploitation of vulnerable, low-income students", according to Alia Wong's 2015 report on the
Downfall of For-Profit Institutions .
The spark that lit this flame came from complaints of students past and present, and rightfully so, but that's a whole other post for another day. My point is, what you say about your institution does matter.
As I mentioned before, I'm not urging you to censor yourself. If you truly feel you have been wronged by your university, by all means, take the appropriate steps to rectify the situation. What I am suggesting, is to be mindful of what you say about your alma mater, especially on social media. More often I am seeing alumni post on their schools social sites and they are all to happy to share how awful their experience was and often times they are sharing on an unrelated post the school has made, which then just makes them look bitter.
As you recall from my
branding yourself post, you are also a brand, so remember, your resume list that same university as the place you 'chose' to earn your degree and how you feel about it speaks much louder than the major you've selected, the year you graduated or the GPA you earned.
Keep in mind, in this life there are going to be very few experiences you love every single aspect of. Rarely, if ever, will you agree with every policy, procedure or practice involved. Be practical when weighing the value of those experiences. If the pros outweigh the cons, maybe its not worth speaking on (or posting about).

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Delivery Partners Needed Nationwide!! Pay Is Nice. by bluesaint(m): 7:45pm On Apr 09, 2016
egopersonified:
Are you sure partners would pay the money to you after delivery?

What happens when the client rejects the delivered product?

Having at least three people in each location might work out better

Is it going to be fast delivery or distribution every two days?

Cost of transportation and cost of dropping everything to pick up and deliver should be factored in

Very good idea that would definitely work, but getting reliable and trustworthy people is another ball game

Maybe you should just start your own courier company without an office, tell them it is a work from home thing, pay salary, focus on locations with your highest delivery and keep using other couriers for places with less delivery, ask your staff for a guarantor, go to the guarantor's office or shop and not house (except he is the landlord) to verify him

I still dey think, wait first

I like it when folks have brains.
OP, u should listen to him.

Romance / Re: Any Guy Who Doesn't Have A House And A Car Should Not Get Married Or Even Date! by bluesaint(m): 7:44pm On Mar 20, 2016
The problem is, the OP and a lot of those that support his opinion are simply "kids" who are yet to understand the term "Marriage".
Marriage transcends finances or status. Marriage makes no sense with all the money and comfort but no peace or fruitfulness. A lot of folks thought it is about what they have until they ventured and failed, and those some of those folks who work hard with nothing became blessed in marriage and rose up to become a pillar.
Moral: Marriage is a spiritual command with divine instruction. There are blessings tied to the godly's.

These people are a bunch of wicked ignoramus. Set up deterrent laws and empower NOSDRA to enforce these laws to the letter. If SPDC for example knows that they will loose over 20% of their annual profit due to a medium level spill, they will do everything possible to take care of their pipelines. But alas! "every spill is caused by "sabotage".

BUHARI WENT TO SAUDI ARABIA, AND AS PART OF HIS VISIT HE HAD TO SEEK THE HELP OF OIC (ORGANISATION OF ISLAMIC COUNTRIES) TO REBUILD PARTS OF THE NORTH WHERE BOKO HARAM HAS DESTROYED , AND YOU THINK THAT IS JUST A FANFARE? NO! IT'S A PLOY TO ISLAMIZE NIGERIA.
WILL OIC EVER GIVE AID TO A SECULAR NATION WITHOUT ANY HOPES OF CONQUERING SUCH A NATION? THAT IS THE ISLAMIC CODE!
WAKE UP EVERYBODY. THIS ISN'T A TIME TO PLAY PARTY LOYALIST. THIS IS ABOUT OUR FUTURE AND OUR NATION.
CHANT DOWN THIS MOVE.

oduastates:
THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA IS NOT THE FOREIGN RESERVES . THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA IS HER PRIORITIES OR LACK OF.
Indonesia under Suharto was equally very corrupt but what did their corrupt official spend the stolen money on ?
What did they spend the money they did not steal on?
Did they carry their beggar's bowl around the world asking for help or foreign investors?

Scarce resources( whether private or public) are spent on luxuries or the wrong stuffs .
When I called out the consistent waste of money on Abuja ( a place that does not and has never produced any wealth ) and comparing it to the modesty of Canberra Australia ,I was criticised. some people will never understand the concept . The concept is so simple . Will you keep investing money in a business that does not return a profit .
Canberra was built to complement Brisbane , Sydney Adelaide.
Apart from a few government buildings , no further development was forced or had tax payers money wasted on it . It grew organically .
In Nigeria's case , a significant chunk of capital spending ( I won't be surprised if it approaches 40%) has been wasted since the 70's , forcing development on the place . Yet , Abuja Is still not producing any wealth.

From the leaders to the little man on the street .
I see someone about to be a guest of EFFC.
Unemployable people always have a way of getting right to the top in Nigeria .
A couple of weeks ago , I made mention of the fact that Nigeria suffers from a dearth of competent managers.
Those with good management skills never get to the top
If you look closely at the likes of Dangote and Globacom man , the critical department in their businesses are manned by expatriates. They employ Nigerians in positions where they cannot cause damage.
I have read many articles from Nigerian economists.
Most of them have been arguing about the theories. None of them have been able to answer my question .
How much does the social implication of official devaluation cost ?

1 How would the increase imported fuel prices from official devaluation affect the entire economy .

2 Most Nigerians have never seen a dollar bill in their lives .Their entire existence is based on locally made items . Food is about the most important thing on their worry list . Of what benefit is devaluation to these people .

3 Civil servants and minimum wage earners will see their income halved . based on the locally manufactured items they buy on a daily basis .

I have no time to type more but ,

Nigeria seems to have a 2 track economy .
One that works for the wealthy and politicians and the foreign powers that control them , and the other economy which does not work at all , come rain, come shine , for the masses .
Nigerian elites have had it so good that they want the gravy train to continue even if it keeps impoverishing the people .

I insist that Buhari must not listen to them ,
You can tell a banana republic by simply looking at the country's list of imports ,and comparing that list to the country's list of natural resources .
Almost all the Asian tigers have little or no natural resource , import raw material and machine ,machine tools and export finished goods . Nigeria on the other hand ........
As we speak , they are not asking for a change of behaviours , they are asking for devaluation ( as if that will improve the underlying problem .

All the brain-dead governors always running about for foreign investment and who keep handing construction contracts to foreigner (as if those people will not remove the money from the economy later) , Can anyone tell me how long it takes to train and equip the youth to handle such things .
It is only in Nigeria that the youths are not good enough , Nigerian engineer abroad all seem to be getting the job done .

OP, you are making a lot of sense, but the problem is that most of the comments above me are borne out of a lack of understanding due to the myopic nature of those minds.

Believe me, if you're single, you will surely have the "best" advices to married couples. More so, you will also seem to "know" how to tackle marital challenges.
But wait until you are married, and the weighty reality sets in. marriage will make you realise that your perfect girlfriend is an imperfect wife. Actually, your husband or wife will become a "help meet" meaning she will reveal and compliment your flaws.
I got married last September and it's really about patience, tolerance and above all, love.
NO EXIT DOOR.
