In case you don’t know what a “PlayStation plus membership” subscription is, let me explain it to you:

For the sake of easier understanding, let me use the same analogy I use for all my potential customers, let’s use the the “YouTube and Netflix analogy”

We both know YouTube and Netflix are streaming services. You can stream videos on YouTube for free using your mobile data from MTN or any network provider of your choice.

Netflix, however, requires an active subscription to stream videos and movies. Even with an unlimited internet plan, you’ll need to subscribe to the app itself to watch content.

Online play on PlayStation is similar to Netflix. To play online with friends or strangers you need an active subscription and your chosen mobile data provider. However, some games like Fortnite, PUBG, Asphalt Legends Unite, The Finals and Call of Duty Warzone are exceptions (there are more but I no fit mention all for here lol)

That’s why I always laugh when customers usually ask “I fit play online” when they buy consoles from me, boss online play isn’t free o lol. Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo isn’t nice like that, they want your sweet subscription money to play with your friends
