Embattled former Publicity Secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh, has offered to refund the N400 million from the arms deal procurement fund that was traced to him. In a statement released by his lawyer, Onyechi Ikpazu, Metuh said he was returning the money to signify his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's anti-corruption war. A Florida man named Thomas Ross claims he and not Steve Jobs created the iPhone and the iPad, and wants Apple to pay him $10 billion for stealing his idea. Thomas, who has sued Apple Inc. cited his sketches from 1992 as evidence that he was the revolutionary genius behind the iPhone.The drawings/ sketches show a rectangle with a screen on it, and was sketched 15 years before the iPhone’s debut in 2007.
The sketches bear some resemblance to Apple’s device, but if we were to judge the case by these standards, Ross can also claim to have invented the Kindle, the personal digital assistant and the Nintendo DS as they all have a rectangle shape with a screen on it.

Katt Williams is once again locked up ... after cops found weed and firearms while serving a search warrant at his house.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office in Georgia say the warrant was part of an investigation into Katt that began on March 1, after one of Katt's bodyguards claimed he was beat with a baseball bat and choked after refusing to "engage in criminal activity" at Katt's behest.
The bodyguard claimed Katt threatened to kill him ... but said the assault was carried out by others in the group.
When cops raided Katt's home Tuesday morning ... they found several firearms, and "large quantities" of marijuana.

President Buhari today made his first public statement about the N780 million fine the National Communications Commission NCC, slammed on MTN over the failure to deactivate 5.1 million unregistered sim cards. Speaking at a joint press conference with visiting South African president Jacob Zuma, Buhari said the slow registration of Nigerians on the MTN network led to the death of many Nigerians during Boko Haram attacks. He said many terrorist now use unregistered lines ..


“This is the first time I will be personally as a president making a public comment about it. The concern of the federal government is basically on the security and not the fine imposed on MTN. You know how the unregistered GSM are being used by terrorists. And between 2009 and today, at least 10,000 Nigerians were killed by Boko Haram. That was why NCC asked MTN, Glo and the rest of them to register GSM. Unfortunately, MTN was very, very slow and contributed to the casualties”he said.

A woman in Omaha was accused of trespassing after sneaking into a local zoo and being bitten by a tiger on Halloween night. Jacqueline Edie, 33, is currently being treated for injuries on her left hand at the Creighton University Medial Center. Edie, who showed signs of intoxication and acted aggressively towards hospital staff, allegedly snuck into the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium Saturday night to pet an 18-year-old Malayan tiger named Mai.

Zoo officials say that upon reaching into the animal's cage, the tiger bit Edie's hand and caused severe trauma. A friend then transported Edie to the hospital.
