Jesus has been arrested after walking on water in Philadelphia’s Love Park, USA. A street performer Michael Grant or ‘Philly Jesus’ is a local celebrity in Philadelphia’s parks. His favorite pastime is walking on water in the park’s fountains, and occasionally baptising people. A 300level student of Bells University of Technology in Ota, Ogun state named Ruth Idahosa died around 2am this morning after suffering an Asthma attack late last night. According to her friends, Ruth had the attack while eating, causing her to choke and lose balance, leading to her falling and hitting her head on the ground. She bled. The students around her said they called the university ambulance but there was no answer. i have been wondering for so many years, and still i haven't arrived at a meaningful answer. why is it that:" When oyibo man is in a creepy house,instead of him to leave quietly, he enters inside well enough; infact to the basement of the house and starts shouting "Hello! Is Anybody home". Trust my naija guys wud sharply run away." has anyone also thought about this ? |

A young girl named Aisha who was going to school on a motorbike was crushed to death by an oncoming car this evening in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The lady was well known in the area where the accident happened. Too sad. May her soul rest in peace...amen. The Head Driver to the Nassarawa state Governor, Umaru Al-Makura, Abdullahi Mairuwa, was shot dead this morning November 8th by unknown gunmen while he was traveling with his wife to his hometown in Keana Local Government Area of the state. Mr Mairuwa, who was in charge of all the drivers at the government house, was shot dead at Tudun Adabu Road along the Obi-Keana-Awe round-about after his car was intercepted by the assassins. He was reportedly shot dead at close range. Leading cement manufacturer, Dangote Cement Plc has announced drastic reduction of the prices of one of its major product - cement - across the country. The new price announced by the Group MD/CEO of Dangote Cement, Mr. Devakumar Edwin, pegged the Dangote 32.5 cement grade at N1,000 per 50 kg bag, while the higher 42.5 grade would sell for N1,150 per bag. A statement by the company at the end of a management meeting said, however, that the new prices were exclusive of the Value Added Tax, VAT, representing about 40 per cent discount on the prevailing market price of the product currently sold for N1,700 irrespective of the grade, across the country.
