Locate Friends, swipe left to CONTACTS, click on get started, wait for contacts to sync. Finally click on manage imported contacts, wait for it to load, then scroll down to see your contacts...

Having a fried motherboard has nothing to do with your saved files. Files are saved on the hard drive and you can always retrieve them as long as the hard drive isn't damaged. All you need do is to detach it from the old computer and hook it up in an external case and then connect to another computer to get your data
