Good evening everyone, contrary to what ammyluv and co posted here that I deactivated my WhatsApp, well here’s what happened, due to whats been happening to me recently of which I lost my business capital and life savings to a frenemy and because I wanted to pay back everyone that paid for that particular deal, i emptied my account and even borrowed to enable me pay each and everyone to an extent they won’t feel I’ve scammed them

Recently things haven’t been going has I planned, the phone I was managing I had to sell it to someone on a cheap to enable me eat and do some other things, that was why I couldn’t be reached last night, the person that bought the phone didn’t want me to factory reset the phone because he doesn’t want to start downloading apps all over again, I had to sign out on everything on that phone and there was no way I could sign out of WhatsApp without deactivating the WhatsApp number unless I want to change number and the buyer wasn’t with the SIM card he uses for WhatsApp so I had no choice than to deactivate my WhatsApp, early this morning immediately I came back from church I had to reactivate my WhatsApp on a tablet I’ve abandoned at home for a long time then I saw some messages from few people asking me what’s going on and all, immediately I opened nairaland and I saw my moniker everywhere.

Some of you might not know the story from scratch but what happened has happened and I’ve been able to sort everyone one out, I’ve paid close to 2 million naira to ppl who paid for those deals that went south and am only owing not more than 100k plus to balance up my debt

Last two weeks, when I was able to get additional money, i messaged each persons to resend their account number so I could disburse the money to each of them, this I did without them asking, but for my own peace of mind

I’ve reached out to them to give me a little more time to enable me balance up the remaining money

It makes no sense to me to pay off debt of close to 2million plus and abscond when am only 100k plus left to pay

Please I didn’t deactivate my WhatsApp for no reason other than because I wanted to sell the phone and the buyer didn’t want me to factory reset phone, I only signed out my iCloud account and gmail then uninstalled the gmail app

The buyer of the phone is on nairaland, I tried searching the number he used in sending me a message on here so I could tag him to this post but the number brought out no result, pls if you’re the one kindly reach out to me as I’ve tried sending you a message on WhatsApp without any response

Please guys, I didn’t scam anyone, it was a deal that went south and I’ve put in effort to make sure everyone gets their money back, some have been paid fully and some I’ve paid more than 90%, kindly give me more time to balance up everyone

Please if you can’t reach me on WhatsApp don’t think I’ve absconded, probably I’ll be selling the tab soon too, it doesn’t cost more than 15k tho, I’ll surely reach out to balance everyone once everything am working on fall into place and everyone will get their balance, all I can ask for is more time, once am able to balance up everyone am leaving the business for good.

Someone asked for pictures of the item he wants to purchase, u sent a stock Google image.
If the picture elbreezy uploaded is what u sent to him, then I must say u are not honest at all.

There is no way a laptop will get this dented and degraded during transit, because this damage looks like something that has been done for a while, it doesn't look like a fresh damage.

I think it's best we blacklist you for a while, when u change your ways, there will be a vote in which everyone here has to jointly agree if u should be unblacklisted

I'll address your allegations accordingly.

Case 1: I have never asked you to waybill any item to Ibadan. This case isn't mine in the first place.

Case 2: I ordered for ten laptops (hp and Lenovo), but you delivered Dell and Lenovo. Out of the 10 laptops, two were returned due to keyboard malfunction and breakage (picture attached). Hotdealz repaired one at Ikeja and he refused to take the responsibility for the other one. Mind you, he delivered the four laptops ( which is the main reason why I reported him nairaland) on the same day that he agreed to repair the laptops that were previously returned.

Case 3: I placed an order for four laptops, hotdealz gave me his words that the laptops are in mint condition. I asked for the pictures and he sent me pictures of two laptops in mint condition. But upon the examination of the delivered laptops, we discovered that the laptops are no where in the mint conditions that he claimed them to be. When I told him about the condition of the laptops, he said that the pictures that he sent were just to show me "what hp 2560p looks like". He later said that all his ads are stock images (picture attached). Anyone dealing with hotdealz need to be careful. If I had seen those pictures, I wouldn't have paid for those laptops. Since I wasn't in Lagos, I asked him to give the laptops to my delivery guy. Hotdealz later said that he put those laptops in a "BAGCO SAC" without any protection. My delivery guy always bubble wrap my packages before waybilling. He has been doing that for me without any complain. The only time that I've had issues with ordered products was with hotdealz. I'm also a seller and I'll never sell items that are in bad condition to my customers neither will I ever send a send stock images to my customers.

It's only right to here the other side of the story, if after a period of time, he doesn't come out to reply or defend himself, then it obviously means he is guilty, will be surely blacklisted

Brother it was not just one issue u had, and u really stressed everyone before u could resolve it.

Seems u guys don't get what blacklisting means, it doesn't necessarily mean you are a scammer, just means people should be careful when dealing with you.

If I tell u the amount of issues iv had this week alone with buyers, yet I choose the most amicable way of settling it. If u had acted that way, u won't be blacklisted.

Anyways if it's upto 6 months, your name will be removed, that's the initial agreement we all had.
