Kennyzanga:
Congratulations to those who sat for the exam! Prepare yourself for further screening, physical exercise and medical tests.
This will be done regional or in Abuja, depending on what the management and the BOARD decision.
Next after the screening, the final list of successful candidate will be released online (customs website, Facebook, Instagram, daily trust, punch etc.).

I could not say anything about WHEN THE LIST WILL BE READY) RELEASED SO AS NOT TO MISLEAD YOU ALL.

How was the screening and physical exercise?
What was the experience like? What were you asked to do?

During our time we went along with a means of identification (either national Id card or voter's card) and also the acknowledgement slip we printed out when we applied.

Due to the low turnout; does it mean those that wrote made the supplementary list and wrote the exam stand higher chance of getting shortlisted for screening? And where would the screening be for someone in Abia State?

The low turnup happened in all the six zones..not more than 40% showed up for the exams which is very strange and no shortlisted person will easily give up when you have more than 35% chance of making the final list
Out of the 3200 that they are going to recruit, how many will be from this supplementary list, considering the fact that some people have already been given appointment letters and are in training college?

Politics / Can Atikus'pdp Wrestle Power From APC by BoboC: 9:54pm On May 29, 2022
It's no longer news that Atiku has emerged the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, after polling the highest votes from the delegates with Nyesome Wike of Rivers state coming in second. The question still remains if the peoples Democratic party will be able to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressive Congress.

In elections in the past, the south-east and south-south have always been the stronghold of the main opposition party(PDP) since democracy returned in 1999. In the 2019 general elections PDP had an average of 75.30% of the total votes cast in the south-east and over 56% of the votes cast in the south-south; leading up to the 2023 general elections, things have taken a different turn and alot of factors have come into play, with Peter Obi (Atikus' running mate in 2019) and Abaribe( former senate minority leader) leaving PDP and moving to the labour party and APGA respectively,Ekweremadu(former deputy senate president) being unhappy and the silence from the quarter's of Wike since missing out on being PDPs' preferred candidate may mean that all is not well. All these different turn of events may cost PDP votes in it's stronghold in the south eastern and south-south regions of the country and may in turn coat them the presidency.

Political analyst have projected that in protest against another northern presidency, with the APC likely candidate being Tinubu and the renewed calls for people to vote based on issues and the movement it has generated-both on and off social media- Southern Nigeria might likely opt for a third force which Peter Obi's Labour party provides.

This leaves the PDP in a dire situation because even if this third force doesn't end up taking over power from the APC, it may end up costing the PDP the votes it needs to wrestle power back from the APC.

Jelzin2412:

For UK, you will have pass IELTS Academic (In Nigeria) with an average score of 7.5 and at least 7 in each of the 4 segments, then proceed to pass PLAB 1(In Nigeria) and PLAB 2(PLAB 2 is done only in the UK hence you will have to apply for a visitor's visa to sit for it) respectively, have your certificate certified via ECFMG/EPIC, then complete your GMC registration and as you do so keep up job hunt. When job is secured you will be issured a COS (Certificate of sponsorship) by your employer then apply for Tier 2 visa and when granted fly to the UK to start your new job.
Okay.
Thanks.

It's not about pay but a country that will grant you the opportunity to train as specialist/GP, offer resident status geared towards ILR/PR and citizenship after which you can navigate towards your preferred location. UK,US, Australia/New Zealand and Germany have got their pathways.
What's the pathway?

They always find a way of tarnishing the man's image and the image of ndi Abia as if there own states are better.
Any pics of bad road they see, they tag it Abia.
They wouldn't see the roads he has built and the things he has done and commend him for that.
