I strongly advise you and your uncle to to go there and say because the wife refused him to see his children, that was why he refused paying their school fees. Apart from the fact that it was ethically speaking, very wrong to hold his children responsible for his wife's misconduct, such action may affect him if may be he wants to claim custody of the children tomorrow. He should rathere inform the people for example that he demanded for an account of the children's welfare which the wife refused to give and that he wanted to take sometime to sought out where the money he was sending was even getting to his children when he got the invitation.
