this js is not about any sitting governor decamping to sdp. It seems you are new to Nigeria politics. Ei rufai is a distraction. I don't think any other top politicians will decamp to sdp. I think there will be an alliance and a new party will be form. I think the north are trying to do what president tinubu did to them before 2023 election. They are concentrating more in South.




In my own analogy, I think two things will happen.
1: I think the north are not after 2027 election, they just want to spoil it for president tinubu. President tinubu have so hurt the them, that they just want to do anything to remove him. So I don't see the north producting any presidential candidate except some greedy once like Atiku and co.
2:I think there will an alliance. El rufai going to sdp is groom people there. Many parties will come together and form one party that the think they would use to remove president tinubu.
In all this, I think the north started early. No body saw them being agitated like this.
And I think president tinubu is a political force on his own. He has the power and the structure. He has inec. So it is going to be a real struggle and benefits to the masses.
With this I see president tinubu start putting people friendly policies out there. He would want to do anything to win 2027
