Dealing with independent marketers is totally different from nnpc......if he gives out 300 trucks to NNPC they have made smuggling not easy for anyone cos those trucks are been tracked just like his cement trucks.

Not having so much fuel available make smuggling very difficult for anyone. Ghana, togo,Benin etc will no choice than to buy directly from him.

They can still cause artificial scarcity at will and hike the price as usual. It is a very worrisome situation that a national corporation has become a distributor for a private firm whereas it cannot maintain the refineries under its watch.

Having refinery of this magnitude in the country, everything about distribution of petroleum products should be completely deregulated. Let the forces demand and supply determine price and supply...
