Those people gave him sleepless night with the AGO he released.

No west Africa country made big demand for his diesel, they were buying from smugglers instead of him.

According to what I am privileged to know regarding the dangote deal with NNPC being the sole buyer of it petrol, it is actually dangote who want that.

Dangote doesn't want to deal with Nigeria independent markets because they are the major smugglers of our fuel to neighboring countries for more gains.
This marketers did him dirty with the AGO (diesel) he released, majority were smuggled and sold outside Nigeria for more gains.
He didn't get patronage like he expected from other Africa countries.

Selling to NNPC will make it easy for them to track things and apportion liters to this smaller buyers accordingly by zone, Dangote want to sell to neighboring Africa countries to make lot of gains and with smugglers having access to his fuel easily it will difficult to sale to those nations.

For instance if you go to ogun state the small towns and villages close to boarder have lot of fuel stations, you beginning to wonder who they are selling too in that side, this stations are majorly for smuggling operation into Benin Republic etc.

For maximum gain both local and foreign dangote needs to sell only to NNPC for now so things can be tracked and good records kept of what we are actually consuming.

Most independent marketers will buy and smuggle it out to other west Africa countries like the case of his AGO (diesel).

If you notice opposition parties and most people who speak against this government are not against this deal.....they all know the game played by independent marketers for years.

David Hundeyin, sowore, Peter obi, Atiku etc non of them can critique this move by Dangote.
