Hello fellow Nairalanders,

There is this news circulating in my locality of UN giving non-repayable loans to small business owners. As I was informed, these small business owners are expected to pay a certain amount (around 2-3k) and write a proposal which will be submitted for approval. Upon submission of the proposal, they will be invited for oral interview and bla bla bla.

A man said he had already spent over 14k since he registered with two different groups. He went further to say that all he awaited was his 5million naira from UN.

I really don't believe this....

Anyone here with useful info concerning this? Pls educate us...

A time in life comes when you'd realise that sex doesn't ultimately define happiness between people in a relationship.

A time also comes when you'd realise saying I LOVE YOU doesn't make your partner feel loved any more than they already feel.

Also there is a time when you'd realise that playing with other people's emotions just to boost your esteem and make them crave for you is amateurish and just as dumb as a cow on roller skates.

You'd also realise when the time comes, that caring less about your partner is the worst thing any one in a relationship could do.

There is also a time when you'd realise that your attention was all that was ever needed for the relationship to work. If you had paid more attention, you'd have learnt more about your partner and their ideologies and everything there was ever to know about them.

A time will come when you'd realise that a person with a heart of gold is worth a million more than one with super looks.

You'd still realise when the time comes that being best friends with your partner makes it 97% possible for a happy relationship. And being best friends with someone besides your partner makes it almost impossible to have a happy relationship. Trust me you'd be confused where your loyalties lie.

Surely a time would come when you'd realise that people need each other to make their relationship work. Sadly, some people think they are doing you a favour dating you. They think you need them so badly and they don't really need you as much.


I'm sure a time would come when you'd regret losing that special person who gave their all just to make you smile. If you had been half as selfless as they were, you'd probably never have to regret because you'd still be smiling and enjoying their company.

You'd also realise, when the time comes, that unfaithfulness is degrading, "amateurish" and shameful. You'd also realise It is a self inflicted reproach. Something you'd never be proud of. If you truly love your partner, you'd never disrespect them, much less, cheat on them.

Life is a cycle. We grow, learn and get new experiences. We regret and try to make amends when we realise we've been fooled by our own fantasies.

Most times we chase shadows, mirages and at the end become despaired.

Life holds a lot but our relationship with people around us holds our happiness and makes that life worth living.

We must learn to respect others and appreciate them in spite of their weaknesses. If we all pay a closer attention to those we are in a relationship with, we would see their true nature and have a better understanding of their unique personality.

Appreciate your partner and give them a bit more attention. I'm sure you don't need to break the bank for this. It's only behavioural not financial.

Someone saner than the op should help me beg him to stop misleading Nigerians. He sounds worse than APC.

We all know half of the things we learn in school are not applicable in real life. And half of the things in real life are not taught in schools.

Instincts, Experience, Hunch etc are at all times necessary.
