It is much easier to lose one's property in certain parts of Nigeria than others. Certain parts will go after your life. If you are lucky, you may not lose it, but you know the next thing. They will wreck you to the best of their ability. They will touch every other thing that you have within their reach. That is the reality in Nigeria. We may shy away from it, but it is the reality.

The stability of your investments depend on many things including, of course, who you are.

First, it depends on who you are, and what you want. You want (from your post), a good ROI (return on investment).
Kuje is approximately 14-18mins from the Nnamidi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja. That I think I know.
Kuje is a community in Abuja, with an established LGA. However, it is not inside Abuja proper.
At this point in time, a plot of land in Kuje should not be costing you 1.5M to acquire.
At this point in time, the cheapest plot of land around Lakowe should be costing over 2.0M, barring any plot to defraud you.
And remember: With the beach, and marina in Lagos, Lagos will be Lagos, for ever.

I have 2 plots of land each measuring 60ft by 120ft. The plots are backing each other with total length of 240ft, represented by area B in the diagram, and both lie beside another land of same dimension and arrangement, represented by area A in the diagram. The other land, illustrated by the thick lines in the diagram, have been completely fenced.

If I want to fence my own land, illustrated by the dotted line in the diagram up to 3 coaches of 9 in. blocks, how much can it cost me?

Lawyer thank you very much for all your help. You have just described the way most Nigerians think, especially those living abroad. I don't know what to call it, arrogance, stupidity whatever. But you are absolutely right.

I am just a newly registered Nairalander, but since I registered at Nairaland, your postings have actually intrigued me. In addition to arrogance and stupidity, I think another reason why some people behave the way they do to you is derived from a saying "anyone who does not have your type will never appreciate you." I recognized your benevolence immediately I started reading your posts because I have had dealings with a number of Nigerian lawyers, and I know their attitude to investigating facts, and two, I also found myself reading law out side Nigeria. So it actually takes one to know one. I can say that you are 'the wisdom of Coke' dressed in gown and wig. I have learnt a lot from your postings, and I wish that you continue. However, your newly derived attitude is what some Nigerians deserve, and they need to have it.

    how far (or close are the following areas from the popular Lekki in Lagos: Badore, Ibeju, Igbo-Efon, Ajah? When people talk of these locations, they  always mention them with Lekki. Are they all areas of Lekki? or are they separate locations different from Lekki? I am not resident in Nigeria, but I am interested in buying a property in any of those areas.
