Yes Tinubu removed subsidy that's fine. Do you think it's the subsidy removal alone that is causing the untold hardship and massive inflation in Nigeria? Yes it played role but that's not the only reason.


Tinubu is corrupt, you cannot argue that. He removed subsidy but the whole deal surrounding it is still shady.


Where are the trillions saved from subsidy removal?


He also removed subsidies on several things including tertiary education which he hypocritically tried to replace with student loan scheme.


What about the trillions he has been making from mulitiple increase in custom duties, government tariffs, indirect levies and taxes that a commoner like you isn't aware of?


Now to show that you meant well for Nigerians, what personal sacrifices did Bola Tinubu and his cabinet members with the legislature, etc made to cut down cost of governance since we are on an expense reduction spree to save Nigeria from drowning of debts? Tinubu still junkets around the world looking for what didn't loss. They all have massive portfolio of fund to spend while telling the poor Nigerian masses to exercise patience.


What was the purpose of a coastal highway that was never important at this critical time in our nation's economy that we should be focusing every penny towards reviving the nation's economy from artificial death?

Mind you, the so called coastal highway will take decades to be completed, so why embark on such white elephant project at this critical time that we are looking for funds to rescue our economy? Have you ever checked how much will be spent and have been spent on that wasteful coastal highway to perdition?


Our major highways are all worn out, we couldn't fix them first, do more interstate railways to connect more states by rail, it was a fruitless coastal highway costing more than the loans we have been borrowing since we started the fruitless coastal highway project.



Take it or leave it, Tinubu have no sincere motive for the whole Nigeria, if he has any, it is mostly for his region and some selected elites and that is why he has been a massive failure, it's not just about petrol subsidy removal

Your state Governor allocation has tripled yet what have they achieved. Channel your energy to ur state government. The coalition cannot do anything better if not worse

But the truth is this; Tinubu's overall performance has been abysmally poor.

Inflation destroyed Nigeria's economy and wiped out more than 85% of Nigeria's booming middleclass population such that most middleclass Nigerians had to gather whatever they had left to flee Nigeria to:

UK
Canada
US
European countries
and even to African countries


Next is hunger; cost of ordinary goods and commodities are high in the market, making it so difficult for average Nigerians to survive, and its worst in far Northern region where Tinubu got most of his rigged-votes in 2023.


Youth unemployment has become a full time national menace since Tinubu became President. More and more Nigerian youths have become jobless and poor.


Despite all these negative effects, Tinubu kept on churning out more anti human policies in the name of tax and government indirect levies/taxes on goods and services.


Customs duty have been increased severally under Tinubu's regime alone and we are an import dependent nation still struggling to find our feat locally, how do you expect general commodities and goods to become affordable in the market with those constant increase in customs duties? Check how much they are using to clear cars now, do we produce enough cars locally? What is the hope of an average Nigerian or civil servants acquiring a second hand car with the current custom duty on imported cars plus high exchange rate?

Bank charges increased.
Telecom increased their tariffs
Nepa abi PHCN increased theirs

How do you expect Nigerians to cope with all these astronomical increases that came almost at once?


These are the things Nigerians will consider during 2027 Presidential election. Yes Tinubu's strategies will do some work for him but it wont be enough to win him a reelection brother.

Atiku have inadvertently inherited Buhari's Northern support base if you don't know. Northwest and Northeast are gone to Atiku already.


The battle now is within:

Northcentral
Southsouth


Southwest belongs to Tinubu already.

Southeast to Obi.

If Atiku and Obi find a way to work together, Tinubu is gone for real.


The only thing that will give Tinubu some advantage in 2027 is if Peter Obi loses the ADC Presidential ticket and refuses to deputize Atiku and leaves ADC to contest under another party, that will give Tinubu a chance but Atiku will still be on the lead because of block Northwest and Northeast votes while Southern votes will be divided

There is no way he will remove subsidy and there won’t be inflation. This is what most of the president are running away from before just to satisfy the few. He will surely overcome them. The truth of the matter is even if the next president come he can’t reverse the subsidy and the inflation will still exist. The devil we know is better than the angel we don’t know.

I do not see how it is coming down o.
N10,000 only gives me around 40kwh of electricity which lasts me for only 2weeks to power

•my AC for like 1hr daily
•Fridge is powered for around 10hrs
•Ceiling fan is powered for around 15hrs daily
•And 3 light bulb around for 7hrs.

I spend around 20k monthly on just light bill.
Light bill and rent alone cost around 55k per month, rent is 400k per year. it outrageous.
