envoymedia: APC Reconstructing Lagos Guber Election As "War" Between Igbo & Yoruba - Soyombo
Nigerian investigative journalist, Fisayo Soyombo has stated that the ruling party (APC) are trying so hard to reconstruct Saturday’s Lagos governorship election as a “war” between the Igbo and Yoruba, IGBERETV reports.
To support his statement, he shared screenshots from a WhatsApp group ‘BAT RESPONSE SQUAD’. His tweets read;
1. The figures used were gotten from Only the result-sheets that were uploaded to the INEC’s IREV-Portal; and that means, the only source of the data used is from the INEC’s IREV-Portal Alone, and no other sources.
**(Even though there are some of the original results from the Polling-units which were totally different from those that were uploaded into the INEC’s IREV-Portal (which were also very “clean and untampered”); We still had to use those IREV-Uploaded results-sheets like that, and assumed that they were the “correct original result-sheets” from the Polling-units.)**
2. Result-sheets that have any cancellations (no matter how little the cancellations are) are assumed to be “mutilated results”, and they were all omitted.
3. Result-sheets that are blurred were all omitted too.
4. And finally, all Polling-units where Federal-Constituency Results or Senatorial Results were uploaded were all omitted too. ..... .. . As officially announced by the INEC: Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State.
APC - 80,239 LP - 3,829..
.... .. As Re-Collated From the IREV-Portal Results: Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State.
Total Rejection of PDP Governorship Candidate, Peter Mbah on Sunday at Ugwu Di Nso Catholic Prayer Ground in Enugu State.
As it happened at Ugwu do nso prayer ground today;
Peter Mbah, the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in Enugu State was today, 5th March 2023 booed out of the Ugwu Di Nso Catholic Prayer ground in Eke town, Udi LGA of Enugu State.
The PDP candidate, who recently discovered that series of endorsements from support groups does not translate to electoral victory especially after the incumbent governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and 7 other candidates lost their elections to the Labour Party in the last election, has been going from one church to the order seeking prayers and endorsements, thereby abandoning his usual town hall meetings mostly attended by PDP faithfuls.
His visitation to the Ugwu Di Nso prayer group did not go well for him as he was booed by the congregation who were chanting Labour Party.. Labour Party.., we don't want Peter Mbah.. we don't want Peter Mbah.
The rejection of his candidacy by the Catholic faithfuls today points to a landslide victory of Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga who has continued to enjoy the support of the churches and Ndi Enugu in general at the grassroots level.

oldienavie: I am a single man in my early 30s, I used to have a girlfriend some couple years ago . She cheated on me, I didnt break up with her but the relationship just kinda died and she moved on .
She started dating another guy but I was also sleeping with her occasionally cos she liked me, anyway, the guy found out and he decided he was not going to marry her, but somehow she got pregnant for the guy. I was already out of the country when she got pregnant for him.
The guy wanted her to abort but she wouldn't, she has a beautiful daughter now, she is not doing so bad as she works with one of the top banks as she is very comfortable. Because of the trauma she suffered during pregnancy, she became close to me as the boyfriend totally abandoned her and the guy has not set eyes on the daughter till today, the daughter is now 6 years old.
I have been out of the country for 7 years and I am due to be back in Nigeria in a few weeks time, I am going back to purposely to look for a wife, we are going to be in the same city .
We currently talk everyday and it has been like that since more than 6 years ago, she is not dating anyone at the moment and she also knows I am coming to look for a wife.
Its almost certain that we are going to get back to having sex as its just obvious despite that we have never discussed that, its hard to really stay away from her but not impossible I am thinking there is nothing wrong having her as a Friend With Benefit pending when I get a wife that I want to marry and then discharge her.
Will it be possible to be Friend With Benefit with her and easily discharge her when I find another woman I want to marry without issues ? I love her and would have considered marrying her if not for the history that we shared, we have now become the best of friends, but I am just confused if resuming sex with her will not make it difficult to keep her away from me when I find another woman.
You know women can be very emotional .
This lady really loved you. You can marry her

logicalhumour: With the current support for APC, I'm beginning to question myself as to if I lived in the same Nigeria under 8 years of APC alongside the supporters of APC.
The title of this thread is a very very honest question. Please do NOT reply if APC hasn't done any positive thing for you. I want to know what Nairalanders have benefited from this current government. Don't coman tell me how you suffered, I didn't ask for that! I just want to know what Nigerians enjoyed the most in this government.
Once again, a very honest question, sincerely. Thank you.
During APC regime I married my dream woman, bought a car, moved into a nice 2bedroom apartment at AJAH in a secured estate, bought a plot of land etc

shantti: I know with the advent of the wokeness culture, what makes Africa African is beginning to be shoved aside. Africa used to have values and norms which they upholds to the highest level. Sex education didn't used to be for children and it worked so fine.
Our contemporary society maybe trying to educate children on matters surrounding sex but I think they are going to far, it should be a very gradual step, with more knowledge added at different stages in life. Not just exposing everything in two shakes of a dog's tail.
I came across this, do u all think it's too heavy for kids
