Abagworo:I respect your views and cant argue with you. You see, there are many sides to the civil war story, and everybody tells the one that suits them. Personally, i like Ojukwu as a person, but a the originator of the biafran civil war, i dont respect him. Note, there is a difference between like and respect. |
discusant:You lied. There was no agitation for biafra during the Jonathan regime. Uwazurike was so vocal during Obasanjo regime but lost him voice during Jonathan. Be sincere with yourselves and your conscience. Meanwhile, there was nowhere in my post that i said crude-oil is all we need to survive. I only to you about the downfall of Nigeria and the day development stopped in Nigeria was the day Ironsi introduced the Unitary System of Government. |
ekafine:I dont know where you are from, i would have been able to tell you some truth about yourself. Now, to what you said, that the Igbos face reality, WHO TOLD YOU THAT? If they do, they would have realised that biafra was a loss cause. Biafra, was the brain child of a man who doesnt want to lose out because he saw that a younger northern was in a position of power, and felt that since the power has left him people(Ironsi), the best way to go was to seccede and be in absolute power in a new republic(biafra). Like i told one of them(biafrans) they were not brought up to listen to and respect elders, if not, most of the elders of eastern region were not killed(they were actually spared by the coup plotters as against leaders of other regions), why did he not consult them for advice because I BELIEVE, H.E Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sam Mbakwe, Ozumba Mbadiwe etc would have strongly advice against going to war. If they face facts, they would have realised that the best time to agitate for seccession was during Jonathan, who was a weak president, but they didnt, they refused to because they were in control of the government and felt it will be so forever. If they face facts, they would have realised that Jonathan's government was never going to win the last election, but they decided to play ethnic politics at the wrongest time. Now, to the Yorubas that you mentioned, i believe you have not been to Ibadan recently, because the pictures you displayed was the pictures of old Ibadan. That was what made it become the LARGEST CITY IN WEST AFRICA, and second only to Cairo in AFRICA. Ibadan was a little london to all Nigerians before the military introduced the unitary system of government. If you know the history of Nigeria, you will know that Ibadan has always been a pace-setter. Since the discovery of crude-oil, the developmental progress in Nigeria that been in decline. You will realise that its only in the West that government changes hand like its done in developed countries, apart from lagos, everyother state in the West has experienced both the PDP and APC(AD, AC, ACN) and can proudly tell you which government is better. To states owing salaries, its not peculiar to Osun alone but almost all states in the federation. If Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Delta states can owe salary, then you are an Hypocrite for calling Osun.(if you can comprehend what i mean. |
Brooklynsouth:I doubt if you are really a girl. But if you are, how much? You know what am talking about o, because that is what your people are good at. Hypocrite like you. I want Nigeria to remain one because that was the wish of our founding fathers and according to our national anthem, "The Labour of Our Heros Past, Shall Never be Invain". I know you were not brought up to respect your elders, thats why i wont be angry with you. I have accepted that as a cross every Nigerian must carry for the Igbos. |
Igbos are the highest set of hypocrites on planet earth. They want to claim PH by fire by force but forgetting the fact that the asaba and agbor they are claiming was part of western region before the creation of midwestern state. The Yorubas allowed peace to reign even though most of those who masterminded the creation of midwestern state were the Igbos. The Yorubas have never wanted to claim back what is today Edo and Delta state even though this two states are richly endowed with crude-oil. Cant the Igbos take a cue from the Yorubas and let the people of South-South be, especially PH in Rivers state. This people(South-South people) have come to realise that you people are not reliable. All you(igbos) are doing now is trying to trick the South-South people into going with you, knowing that they will be worst for it in the long run. This is evident in the fact that if you can play your ethnic politics against Adaka-Boro in a university setting, who says you wont do worst in open politics when you are sure of more population. Please, let the people of South-South be, fight your fight yourselves. |
Rose2014:Why try to bring the Yorubas into this now. What have we done again. Is @TonyeBacarnista now a Yoruba man? Am very sure when you people finally gets your Biafra, when your leaders mess up, you will call them Yorubas abi. Please, grow up, and leave the Yorubas out of this. |
Hmmmmmmmmm. TRUTH IS BITTER. Most Igbos always shy away from the truth. What the Op said is perfectly the truth, but the igbo in them wont let them see it. They are always blaming the North for every misfortune in the East, but the truth and fact is that their leaders(igbo leaders) are supposed to be help responsible for everything bad that has happened to the East. Take for example, it was not the federal government that build most of the new bridge we see in Kano state, but the past governor did. So also most states in the North and West, but what happens to governors in the East? Apart from Enugu state, i cant point to any eastern governor has good. Nobody hears anything about Ebonyi state, but the fact is that, that state has been blessed with the worst governors in Nigeria. Same get for Abia, Anambra and Imo. Call your state governors to order, or better still, stop collecting money from them during electorial campains and vote for those who will work for you. One again, stop supporting evils all in the name of supporting your tribesmen. If they have come out to openly condemn the likes of Stella Odua, Theodore Orji etc, this people will know what they have done is wrong and will retrace their steps, but you dont expect them to change their evil ways when they are overwhelmly supported by their kinsmen. The result of that support is what you are getting now. So please, my brothers from the landlord of the rising sun, seccession is not the solution. The solution is simply to look inwards and hold your leaders accountable. |
cosmatika:You are a big fool. Who kill the economy? Was it not your illetrate Jonadunce. Which regime made more money in the history of NIGERIA than Jonadunce's regime? Better grow up and stop all this hatred, it wont take you anywhere. |
Nothing DSS can do to him[/quote]They cant do him anything. They will only grill him and keep him in solitary for six months. When he is finally released, he will be as gentle as a jelly and will never shout Biafra again. Bet me. |

Wont dey continue to fight among themselves even if the whole world is converted to islam? Why dont they just face reality that what muhammed thought them could only happen in the stone age. I know some muslim, who love to be free of the bondage of the religion. Why dont they allow people make their choice. |
I think is d fault of the Igbos. The blind support most Igbos give to Jonathan even when he was wrong is the cause of the problem. If only they(igbos) change in the thinking and utterances, things will be different. Dats my oppinion sha |
Pls Op, add me on whatsapp or call/flash me on 08138975956. Pls I very much need dis. |

tthanks to the network providers in naija. All they know how to do is give money to some useless already made artists instead of improving on their network. Imagine our national carrier Glo, always endorsing yeye artists and neglecting educational programmes. Now they have almost cost the Op his relationship. |

What do you expect from a nuthead |
Useless man. He's going to join the trendy profession. |
Most people save the names of their loved ones with "My love, Sweetheart, etc or you will find those that still have parents store theirs as Dad, Mum etc. Or better still you will see Pastor this or that. If the phone is not locked, I believe its easy to get someone close to the victim on his/her phone. |
Hahahaahahahhahaha. Must dey copy? |
This is really interesting. How I wish I could see their response. If only Nigerians can do such and let some of this countries that discriminate against know that some of us know alot about the economy and situations in their countries, maybe they will sit tight and accord us more respect. |
kodded:What's your problem with the watch the lady is wearing? For goodness sake, as a wife of a former Head of State, can't she afford it? Why is it that most of you from the east of the niger that attitude problem. Its people like you that will say the was genocide against the igbos, pls if I may ask, did d igbos not kill Nigerian soilders and citizens too? Or what did they do with the local bomb(egbunike or whatever), eat it? Please, get over your foolish attitudes. For your information, Hajia Aisha Buhari, was and is presently the WIFE OF Mr. PRESIDENT. Come to think of it, what if it was given to her as a present after her husband won the election. |
I have free to air but it scramles indiscriminately, especially when watching a live match. I only get to watch live matches on Canalfoot and Canal+. Its french commentary. I also have another where I watch mbc but the jsc sports dont show and I don't know how to get showtime sports in Ibadan. Its killing having to go out to watch matches every time. I have dstv also, a pvr dual view decoder for that matter but having to pay about N16k monthly is killing. I stopped paying when it was N13,450 monthly. Guess any1 out there can help my plight. |
I dont want to comment until I have seen the whole season 5. But I must confess, episode 8 is breathtaking. Its da bomb. I know the only solution to the white walkers are the dragons. Only Bran Stark has the magic to finish the white walkers using the dragons. U know what I mean. |
Hello, please I will need 100 acres for lease. How much will it cost to clear. My email is tobiabiola@gmail.com. |
@Ola, I read the front page and am so touched. May the Lord of host heal your sis. It's a pity am financially handicapped right now, but I will like to direct you to an organization in Abuja, it's called BREKETE FAMILY. I don't know if you have heard of it, I believe the President, Ordinary Ahmed Musa, will help you. He might not be able to give all the money, but, I believe when he airs her predicaments on air, she will surely be helped by well meaning Nigerians. Plea, accept my deepest sympathies once again. |
