I'll still advise you to start with buying small phones, as there isn't necessarily more profit on iCloud-bypassed iphones than them. Besides, not all iCloud-locked iPhones can be bypassed. Some hotheads don't do LOST mode, some don't do STOLEN etc. Do your research, so you don't end up buying an expensive iCloud-locked device that can't be bypassed, and which selling for parts won't be profitable either.
You can still make 5-8k profit, per device, on smaller, cheaper devices, with peace of mind, if you buy a good product and have an excellent marketing skill.
Most of the dealhunters here sell at rates that are favorable to small-scale retailers, like me and you, so you can still make 5-10k on deals bought here, TLC or AIN. It's passive income, so, don't expect too much profit. Just have the mindset of dealing once or twice, weekly.

I've been planning to jump on this phone business but I'm a student so getting the Capital of about 100k+ is pretty difficult for me and that's why I wanted to start with the iCloud locked devices since they just cost about 45-50k. And hopefully if I can get about 2/3 and resell them, I can then gather the profits and move on to getting standard devices.
