We've been hearing of this Siemens project for years now. This is one of the redherring to distract us from the fact that Tinubu and his ministers have been failures.

Best hands in the mud.

Their reactionary approach to development wants to make one cry.

By the time the foreign reserve is completely depleted because they are pretending to be defending the naira we'll know what else they'd say.

Adelabu is one of the worst performing minister out of the bunch of mediocre ministers of Tinubu. He's the worst of the worst.

He increased electricity tariffs in the dead of the night just like his mandate thief principal was illegitimately announced in the dead of the night and now he wants to distract us with Siemens behemoth project.

Ọkụ gbakwaa all of them.

Ndị ara!

He should accept it. We don't have dollars again to pay him.

We should hire someone we can pay in naira. After all, our best coach had been the Late Skipper Stephen Keshi and we paid him in naira

Besides, he wasn't quite impressive at the Nations Cup. There were no tactics.

Business / Re: I Want To Leave For Lagos Soon I Need Advice by Bonaventura(m): 12:07pm On Dec 18, 2023
Meerahbel:
Dear Ebube,
It a good thing you want to start a business, but it obvious you barely have knowledge of this business.

The business has been in existence since BC and would continue be because people cannot do without food, irrespective of the economic conditions people must eat.

There are 2 branches of food business I am aware of
1. Raw food business (selling grains, rice, garti, beans, crayfish, egusi, frozen food etc)
2. Cooked food e.g Mama put or Buka as it called in local parlance

Which ever you decide, look for a mentor who's in the business in your current location, learn as much as you can before venturing into your own food business. It must not be Lagos, food business sell every where and any where.

All the best.

Dear Ebube

The quoted advice is the best anyone can give you on this platform.

You're Igbo and you very well the importance of learning trade under someone no matter how little the time.

Lock away the money you saved in the bank with an instruction, then go to International Market and look for someone to attach yourself for sometime, even if it's for six month so that you learn the basics, rudiments and tricks of the trade.
Even if you can't stay at your current locations for your own reasons, you can still stay within the city, there are places you can rent a room for 4k monthly.

You never can tell, you could end up staying in Ebonyi and selling the foodstuff.
Just like the man above me mentioned there's no part of the country that don't eat food so food market is in every part of the country.

Most importantly, pray for God's wisdom, mercy and direction.

Thank God you're not thinking of going into that evil called yahoo in the name of 'hustle'

Okay.

Meanwhile vote GRV to end the feudal dynasty and liberate the good people of Lagos from the hegemony of Tinubu and his cronies.

So the other that an elderly man nearly beat me up in Owerri when I told him that it is important he votes in the house of Assembly elections.

He said he won't, not after having stayed at the polling unit from morning till night to vote and defend his vote in the last election only to get home and hear a different result from the one he witnessed at the poll.

He swore he will never waste his time going to vote again.

I understood his grouse and frustration. That had been the plan of the APC all along - for people to give up and abandon the process so that the rigging this time will be clinical.

But I urge everyone, go out and vote. Not voting is actually one voting for the wrong party and person.

As for Imo State you know how a single lady who had raw sex during ovulation counts the date to her next period, that's how everyone is enduring and counting down to when the tenure of Supreme Court stooge will come to an end.

I'm sure shame won't allow him to seek for reelection.

Not just Imo REC. The entirety of INEC.

If not, tell me why INEC whose charade of February 25th has been widely condemned and is being challenged in court would approach same court and plead to be allowed to DESTROY Evidence in the name of reconfiguration.

Nigerian public officials are brazen with impunity and don't rate Nigerians at all but this is the end of the road for Mahmud and his cohorts.

The generation that parents will always shout at for doing nothing other than pressing phones are the ones through which the mastery of technology and pressing of phones will eventually save our democracy.

Yesterday an elderly man nearly beat me up in Owerri when I told him that it is important he votes in the house of Assembly elections.

But then, Nigerian politicians get shame

Politics / Re: The Economic Potentials Of Imota Rice Mill by Bonaventura(m): 7:57am On Jan 26, 2023
This is a welcome development.

Meanwhile, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State completely abandoned agriculture and made people believe he focused on a facade infrastructural development.

The truth is that just like Buhari's Daura, Dave made his tiny town a haven and left the entire state in shambles.

The few multicoloured bridges and building he did are just for aesthetics. Most of them do not extend beyond 2km into the interior. They are done along where people transit to other states so that they can be seen.

They are birthing another insurgency in the South West. Nigeria never learns

It was the extra-judicial killing of Mohammed Yusuf in 2009 that spiraled the activities of Boko Haram

It was the multiple ill-thought army exercises of 'Python Dance' and the subsequent killings of unarmed pro-Biafra protesters in various parts of South-East that spiraled into the monster in Igboland today.
