itsme01:Igbos have continued developing nigeria even the remotest part of the north at the detriment of their own region. Do u want me to show u so many more ways Igbos have continued uniting nigeria |
itsme01:if u re truthful to urself u definitely know so many ways Igbos have continued sustaining the unity of this country |
The only reason there is still Nigeria is because of the southeast. Just like Nnamdi Azikiwe fought for the unity of Nigeria in 1956, Igbos have continued sustaining Nigeria unity by simply who they are. A Nigeria without the Igbos will be so screwed and unliveable. The reason a Niger deltan, Yoruba, Efik, Ibibio, middlebeltans, even Hausas still remotely believe in nigeria is because of the igbos In fact none of these ethnic groups would want an independent nation Igbos. wouldnt be part of. Igbos have become the hopes and aspirations of Nigerians |
You people should leave we Yorubas alone |
There is no doubt that Yoruba can not survive in an independent nation and they perfectly understand this. The wealth of the rich people in southwest is traceable to government patronages. You will hardly see a wealthy Yoruba whose wealth is as a result of personal effort. It will interest you to know that 95percent of the IGR in the southwest state is generated from the other tribes domiciled in yorubaland. There is hardly tangible resourses even in human capacity to sustain an independent Yoruba nation. So when you hear someone like Obasanjo, Oni etc saying Nigeria unity is non negotiable, bet they understand exactly what they are talking about. These are the real Yoruba patriots. |
The north has been feeding the nation in agriculture and there is room for for improvement as regards exportation and there is discovery of oil in some parts of north Niger delta has been feeding the country with the oil. Southeast has massive oil deposits in three of their five states - Imo, Abia & Anambra and in commerce they have been the heartbeat of Nigeria. Apart from little oil deposit in Ondo I ve been researching on any other contribution of the southwest to this Nigerian project |
