U can go with them to the embassy for ur interview and request for them to be added.it will be done there.just go with enough evidence of ur marriage and ur baby's documents.also be prepared to pay the naira equivalent of the iv fee on that day.thier medicals will be done after the interview.

Hello Gurus in the house. I am an F4 applicant, I received an email (appointment letter) from NVC and my appointment date is stated in the letter. Please I have a few URGENT questions.


1. Do I have to register on https://www.usvisaappt.com/ or should I attend the interview with just the letter since the date and time is stated on the letter?

2. I registered on https://www.usvisaappt.com/ (as per instructions on the prep website) but I get an error message whenever I input my case ID. My case ID starts with LGS *****. Am I wrong? is there a different case ID? I also tried the Case Master ID, same error. (Picture attached).

3. What is the correct process/steps of confirming interview on https://www.usvisaappt.com?


PLEASE NOTE: I just signed up on https://www.usvisaappt.com today. Do I have to wait for a few days before confirming my interview date?

I tried reaching out to the embassy, the numbers i got online didn't go and their bot auto-replied my email telling me to make inquires in their Visa Navigator. I did and it ultimately led me to the usvisappt website.

The website was changed (26th August). The new one( usvisaappt) is not fully set up, no family based visa is listed in it yet. I got in touch with the customer service but I was told to wait till F4 is included in the site, then file a complaint about my visa & passport retrival.

If I could just get in touch with the embassy I wouldn't be running this rats race which I doubt will be fruitful.

Please if anyone has a number or a functional email that an actual human is in charge of, please help. My mum is sick and depressed, we lost my dad a few months ago and I just want her to leave here as soon as possible, even if we don't tag along, things are too much on her & this is all I can do to help.

Wait for your PD to be current. They are currently at 01 Apr 10. After that, embassy will deal with NVC and select the batch to be called for interviews (depends on Lagos embassy's capacity and your DQ). Overall, the bulletin may start moving from October. There has been no movement since last July in most family-based categories. Finally, after you become current, you wait for like a month (my friend's experience) and you are scheduled for the interview (interview letter sent to you). You may start getting your passports valid and ready, attestation to births, police character reports etc.

Please I will like guidance on how my family can go about this too.
We are in the F3 category (adult married daughter of a us citizen). My mother-in-law is the citizen while my wife is the daughter. We have a son who was 15yrs old and a daughter who was 13 yrs old at the time of filing in 2018 in Nigeria.
We got a letter from uscis last month that my wife's application is successful and the case is being transferred to NVC which they stated might take up to 30 to 60 days.
Please, I will appreciate it I can know what is the next step we should start preparing for, as me and my wife are presently working in U.K while the children are in university in Nigeria.

F3 case has a limited in visa issuance the same apply to [F1 F4] even though USCIS approved your petition send it to NVC u will still wait for some years before ur case can be process at NVC, the next letter u will received from NVC will indicate that they have received ur Approved petition from USCIS within 2 months, they will let u know when they will start processing ur case. F3 and F4 visa case is longer than any other category if u want to calculate the time NVC will finish ur case it will take 8 years or more . Check the visa bulletin for this month F3 is still in April 2010 and ur priority date is 2018 as u said. So relax when it it ur turn NVC will send u a welcome letter to start processing ur case.
In my own case F4 USCIS approved my case in 2010 I received a welcome letter in December 2019 .

I don't think there's anything to worry about if you are really the relative of your petitioner.

Hello guys, today, I received two emails concerning the status of my CRBA application for my son. The first email stated that my application was under review, while the second email informed me that the status of my application had changed, and upon logging into my account, I observed the status was updated to "Not Issued". I am confused as what this means. Does it mean under review or denied. I believe denial should not be the case, I believe DNA testing should be the last resort. Please I would appreciate if anyone can shed more light on this. Thank you.
