How do I stop Opay from locking up anytime I switch to another app on my phone. Anytime I leave the Opay app, it locks automatically, even switching to check on something elseb for a second will lock it, this can be very annoying and tedious.

I have checked the security section to see if I can disable it but that was no help.

I think changing of place of birth is inconsequential. And it is among list of possible changes you can do. Approved changes are mainly names, date of birth, address and email.

I tried to renew my international passport and I was refused at the passport office because the place of birth on my NIN does not match the one on my previous passport.

I did my old passport way before the existence of NIN. It was registered with my actual place of birth. When I registered for NIN, the person doing the registration made an error and put in another place of birth. I did not realize this error all these while until I decided to renew my passport. Now that NIN is required to get a passport, the descripancy is giving me problems.

So, the place of birth may actually be more important than we think.

Please, I really need to change my "place of birth". There was an error on it when it was first done, I need to correct it. How do I go about it?

Any credit amount can enter if it's Tier 2 or 3.
Some tier 1 both Dr and Cr are 50k while others like FREBA account credit can take any amount but Dr remain 50k.

So, if I send 200k to a tier 1 account, it will enter?

What happens if I send an amount of money to a person that is above the balance limitation on the persons Opay account?

Will the money be returned. If it is not returend and is held by Opay barrimg when the person upgrades, will the receiver be informed of the said transaction?

See, fools are way better than hypocrites. At least, a fool can come to his senses, but hypocrisy, there is not cure for that.

I'm facing an issue with renewing my international passport due to an error in my NIN information. When I tried to renew my passport online, I was required to enter my NIN. After doing so, my details automatically populated the form, including my place of birth. Unfortunately, the place of birth listed in my NIN is incorrect and differs from my place actual of birth which is the one on my previous passport.

I believe this mistake was made by the person that filled the form when getting my NIN some years back. I didn’t realize this mistake until I attempted to renew my passport. Despite filling out the International passport request form and making the necessary payment (about ₦35,000), the discrepancy in my place of birth was flagged when I visited the passport office. The officials there informed me that the place of birth on my old passport must match the one on my NIN, which it currently doesn't.

I went to the NIN office to correct this error, but they only offered to change my date of birth, not my place of birth. I’ve even tried updating my information online, but there's no option to change the place of birth there as well—only the date of birth and other details.

I’ve reached out to the NIN office via email twice now but haven’t received a response. As a result, I’m unable to renew my passport, and the money I paid for the renewal is essentially wasted. I’ll need to pay again and resubmit the form, but I can’t do this until the place of birth issue is resolved.

If anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it, please let me know. I’d appreciate any advice on how to correct my place of birth in the NIN system.

did you see an option to also change "place of birth"?

why is there no option to correct or change "place of birth". I only see option to change "date of birth" not "place of birth".
