His name is Ikechuckwu |
Let me try to paint a picture in your head to help you understand this issue better. For those of you that understand how JiJi market place operates. Just imagine a person orders an item on Jiji market place. The seller delivers the goods to the location only to realize it was a fake order and then have his goods seized by Lagos government just because Lagos government is having an issue with JiJi. Now also imagine that Lagos government sends touts into the Palms or Ikeja shopping malls to start seizing the items of sellers just because Lagos government has issues with the management or owners of these shopping complexes. Just try to picture those scenarios in your head and see the kind of abgero government that is being run in this country. How can you deflate the tires of drivers and then have their vehicles impounded because you are having an issue with Uber, do these drivers work for Uber. |
Faiththatworks:Stop explaining nonsense. Lagos state government is doing this for tax purposes and not for any security reasons. The idea of seizing driver's vehicles is not only draconian it is criminal. Uber drivers are not staffs of Uber, they simply use their app to run their business, so why hold them responsible for Uber's so called wrong doing. It just like going to confiscate a seller's goods because Jumia or Jiji is having issue with government. You guys are just so quick to defend rubbish. By the way, it is not best practice for government to have access to the database of a private company if you are not investigating the company for a criminal breach. The normal practice in sane climes is to reach out to the company to provide you information on the particular driver you are investigating if that driver has committed a crime. If the company refuses to provide you that information, then you can sue the company for obstruction of a criminal investigation. That is how it is done and not by having a free ride on the company's database. |
This one go contest for Governor in his state in the future and they will still vote him in. |
AutoConsult:In the UK, the law is not a respecter of status or wealth, here is Nigeria the law only flexes it's power on poor people. |
Dearlord:What exactly are the fun things you guys get on the unofficial Whatsapp. I am curious. |
He will not reveal anything. Whatever else he has will simply be used as a bargaining chip and nothing more. |
That man is not God and Lawal would have been bad for the country. |
Ok |
What ever the North is doing to Tinubu and his government today is what he Tinubu colluded with the North to do to Jonathan and his government. So, he should stop disturbing our ears and deal with the issue as the strong man that he believes he is. When you dig a pit for another to fall in... |
seunmsg:So, you know and openly admit that was what was done to Jonathan. I am sure you also know but of course will not openly admit that Tinubu himself was in cohort with the North in that despicable act towards Jonathan. |
astonished:More than 60%, and it's a secret. Do you know what 60% is? |
You can't give what you do not have. |
Why are they acting like they are surprised about how Tinubu runs things. Did they not see how he ran Lagos? Only a pretender or a dunce will be troubled that a cat is acting like a cat. |
Na daily post dey write "existence" instead of exit? |
Why is using public fund to give gifts, be it for personal or political reasons not against the law in Nigeria? There should be a law prohibiting acts like these. Serious countries that are serious about fighting corruptions do not allow things like this. |
Please I need advice or recommendations on the best way to receive money from Europe now. I mean, with the best exchange rate. |
What is even the usefulness of this CCB? Please, someone should explain to a lay man like me. |
Dear [Daniel Bwala], Greetings from the Shameless People Political Party (SPP) where loyalty is as elusive as a well-cooked promise and where political ideology is as flexible as a politician's waistline! We are delighted to welcome you as our latest addition to the party, bringing with you an appetite for success that rivals even the most indulgent feasts. In joining us, you've demonstrated a keen understanding of the fine art of political gastronomy – where decisions are seasoned with self-interest, and principles are marinated in the pursuit of personal gain. Your commitment to filling your political plate has not gone unnoticed. As you savor the delicacies of opportunism and relish the flavor of expedient alliances, remember, you're now part of a party that believes in the philosophy of "stomachocracy." Here, we understand that a well-fed politician is a happy politician. Our already established and esteemed members FFK, Reno Omokri and grand patron Atiku Abubarka gladly welcome you to a buffet of shifting loyalties. We look forward to your contributions to our ever-expanding banquet of political expediency. Bon appétit and welcome to the Shameless People Political Party (SPP) – where the only thing we take seriously is the pursuit of our own interests! Yours gastronomically, Reno Omockery National Seceretary SPP |
Despite all the atrocities Jim Jones was committing, his worshippers were still loyal to him to their death. Despite all what Reverend King did, they are worshippers that are still loyal to him till today So, I am not surprised. The mind is a very powerful but yet very feeble thing. |
Your loyalties should be to God. |
lordm:Are you writing this from France or from Japan? So if Nigeria police stops you on the way or you find yourself in an emergency situation where you have to quickly identify yourself, you will ask them to wait while you log into your phone. Even fintechs will still ask you to submit a selfie of yourself holding the hard copy to your face. Now, that is after you have already submitted the soft copy. |
lordm:Do you have an ID card printer in your house? |
They should start printing hard copy ID cards for people. Going to road side computer centres to print these cards as most people are doing now is not just safe. |
Justnation:The ones they accused him of when he was alive, did you believe them. Didn't you still call them liers. Alive or no alive, you will still fight and protect these men. |
