ProgrammingFinal Year Project - Please Help by bookgenius(op): 9:02am On Jan 22, 2016
Let me go straight to the point. The project is a phone tracking system that includes an app and a web server.

The mobile application installed on the mobile phone will send the coordinates of the position of the mobile phone at intervals to a remote webserver, based on the assumption that the phone’s GPS is always on, and there is always internet access on the phone.

The webserver receives data (coordinates) from the GPS on the mobile phone. It also serves data to the webpage with data needed to locate the exact position of the mobile phone.
It uses the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture consisting of the models that manage the data and resources, the controller that routes request the appropriate components for handling and the view that responds with the appropriate data requested.

The webpage presents the exact location of the mobile phone on the global map. This is achieved through the insertion of the coordinates (latitude and longitude) onto the web page. The user interface is developed using client side programming and is intended as a tool that is in sync with the global map.

Assumptions
The following assumptions are to be made during the design of this project:
The GPS of the mobile phone is always switched on
The mobile phone always has access to the internet

I am into programming but not so vast in it, i know PHP for some extent and also frontend languages....The problem is that I don't even know where to start, what I will need or what to learn.

I only need hints and I would so much appreciate it. I'm sure someone here must have done something similar before.

Thanks.

RomanceRe: Why Can't Ladies Do The Proposal.. by bookgenius(m): 7:45am On Dec 29, 2014
jerryboiii:
Was browsing through NL and saw a thread on which a girl was asking for advice on how to propose to a guy but she was met with great insults and discouragements. Then I was like which law anywhere says "Guys must propose to ladies, not the other way round", Why can't ladies show and prophesy their love to guys? Is it that they aint gat the guts? Or is it just one of those human assumptions? I need to know!!!!
it's been the tradition since the days of your forefathers, play along.

Staff and students of the University of Benin (UNI BEN)
on Monday, excitedly received the Vice Chancellor of
university, Professor Godwin Oshodin, after about
three month absence for medical treatment overseas.
Oshodin, until Monday, was last seen in the institution
campus in May, after which some of his opponents
fuelled speculations over his health and called for the
appointment of an acting vice chancellor in his
absence.
The VC made a surprise appearance a the institution’s
Senate building at about 11:00 a.m. to attend a
meeting of the appointment and promotion board of
the university.
Meanwhile, three associations in the University of
Benin – Senior Staff Association of Nigerian
Universities (SSANU), National Association of Academic
Technologists (NAAT) and the Non Academic Staff
Union of Education and Associated Institutions (NASU)
on Monday, berated calls by some sections of the
university for the appointment of an acting vice
chancellor for the institution because of the absence
Oshodin.
SSANU, NAAT and NASU, who were represented at a
press briefing at the institution by John Osaretin Alile,
S.M. Momoh and Joel Idonije respectively, noted that
is a mark of mischief for anyone to claim that the
absence of the vice chancellor has created tension a

Jregz: you can use PayPal but it has to be a U.S account (or that of any other Country) but not.a Nigerian PayPal .

Simple Pay or voguepay should be cool since it's just a "mini store"
thanks so much

IamGodzilla: Just list all your products, so far you have installed the woocommerce and simplepay4u plugin.

An example is a shop website like jumia, konga etc..where all products are shown.. So when a product is clicked, it takes em to the price page with description..and a place to click on to add to cart, then pay.

And an option to pay...
Goto ur admin panel-->at the right side panel, you should see Products-->then add your products.

And on your homepage.. Add the woocommerce short code to display your products, if your theme requires a shortcode...

**if you need help cheesy, am still available.**
thanks...I should get it.I'll try it tomorrow.

Sorry I'm back again,I was on a site few minutes ago and I saw the "pay with simplepay4u" link, when I clicked it,I saw that it has been programmed their to pay for that just one particular product. What if I had more than one product to sell, and I want the buyers to choose one item, then after that it'll load the 'price and item description' page, then they can pay...Sorry if the question sounds amateurish.

WebmastersRe: Webmasters Please Help Me! Please. by bookgenius(op): 6:44pm On Aug 18, 2014
IamGodzilla: Ssl might come with extra charge...
Voguepay doesn't implement the interswitch framework(mastercard, verve, visacard) except you have confirmed your business to be registered in Nigeria.Leaving you with verve and and one other, and a means for a customer to sign up to voguepay and use their account to pay.
Simplepay gives the option of interswitch, visa, verve, and simplepay itself. But the money goes into your simple pay acct, and you withdraw with charges...
These payment modes are secure.

Now if you will need help with these, I can do it for you @ little charge.
wow..seems I'm getting it,so u'll advise simplepay right??
WebmastersRe: Webmasters Please Help Me! Please. by bookgenius(op): 5:10pm On Aug 18, 2014
Jregz: have you Installed the plugins already ? woocommerce and voguepay...

Once installed, you would be presented with a list of options at the left hand side of your screen, this list would contain different things like post, plugins, Settings, Woocommerce ...

hover your mouse on the bonded above, you would be presented with options, click on settings and you would be taken to a page where you set your preferences....

The options are General,Shipping, tax, checkout,Account and "others".....Click on each tab and set your "most preferred" option.

Make sure your Currency is set as Nigerian Naira (It's in the drop down list)..if it's not in ngn, The other plugin, Voguepay wouldn't work.

Once you've set up your preferred options, Head over to www.voguepay.com and sign up for an account, get your merchant key because it would come handy when setting up the voguepay plugin...

Go back to your WordPress administration page and move to the "Voguepay plugin" settings tab and add your "key".....Viola, you're almost done

Add a product -- click on product and add the description of Your ebook plus it's cover ,add it's price And read through the other boxes, then Publish...... This is the easiest I can give right now....

Play around with it ,If you don't get it right, I'm afraid you might have to Contact someone to fix it up for you......

You.might also be needing an SSL certificate for your domain name
thanks so much..I appreciate..I think I understand now.As for the SSL certificate,I don't know about but I got the domain name on gadaddy, will they include the ssl certificate?

Jregz: Goodday,Install the woocommerce plugin and the Voguepay plugin (FOC)....change your preferable currency to Naira.in the woocommerce plugin settings tab (for your Vogue pay plugin to work)

create an account at voguepay.com ,get your merchant API and add it to the settings page of your Vogue pay plugin,(Money is deposited straight into your account tho there are minimal charges) .

Add a product and start selling....Gracias
Thanks.but please your explanation is somehow complex,I'm a novice please.
