Can a man give what he doesn’t have ? No. If there are dead people here, they could have provided answers to this question. A colleague of mine we finished from law school together died last two weeks. I was shocked to hear about this dudes demise. I couldn’t believe it because we used to discuss a lot about the mysteries of this world. He’s highly intelligent and he’s also a Christs believer. Since then have never stopped thinking about death. And have now come into conclusion that death doesn’t happen to others alone, it shall still happen to me and everyone living on earth at the due time. Individual exists only for himself and their universe goes off the day they stop breathing. |
omoredia:This is the truth many blacks hate to love. Nigeria for example. Our people complained they were not satisfied with the way the British managed the economy. One would think when Nigerians will take over the government it would offer the best to its people. But look at what we got. Is it not better to have white people rule us directly and get a better system than the corruption filled government we have in place today ? |
I put the location on the map. It showed Ibeshe Beach instead. Who can help with the accurate description to the beach please ? |
I personally doubt the possibility of the survival of any earth based species in the space. This may be the one scientific research that may not yield the expected result forever. Besides, Space doesn’t provide immortality. So, what’s the point ? |
Analog95:Oga, you’re always the one shooting yourself at the right leg. Your problem is myopic mindset. Sorry if am being harsh. Someone gave you an opportunity in Oil and Gas and never mentioned any specific role but you’re already boxing yourself into lecturing again ! If he then tell you it’s not lecturing job he has and that whenever he gets one he will contact you , you will start whining again that you don’t know how you miss opportunities. Have an open mind and be ready to leverage any high paying opportunities as long as it’s related to your field. Passion don’t pay bill, quality of value demanded and ability to offer such value does. |
henrycloud:I have a Nigerian verified Upwork account. Have not landed any job successfully on it since I opened it back this year. Initially made around 300$ when I opened it 2013. But stopped cos of some issues until early this year. Can we connect brother. I need your help to address what may be wrong with the account. |
After the kidnappers have been captured, they will quickly claim they are now repented. The Nigerian government will brand them as “Repentant Bandit” reintegrate them into the Nigerian Army or fly them abroad on full scholarship. Indeed, there was a country. |
Humanity first. He should take care of his health. Wishing him quick recovery. |
okenikpoto:I thought I was the only one. It made no sense. The op muddled the male character with the sister. |
Babatundehy:You see those elderly people. 99% of Nigerians are like them. Most Nigerians have so much problem demonstrating integrity. The devil really wanted to cause you regret that day because I can imagine how much angry you were at that moment they ganged up against you. |
emkz:They are evil people brother. They spend public resources to buy ammunition. They facilitate man hunts to capture the bandits who kill and maim their victims with impunity. However, victims of these attacks are suffering but the Federal government prefer to tend to the rehabilitation of the perpetrators- the criminals, instead. Assuming these criminals are misdemeanor offenders that will be excusable but these are hardened criminals for Gods sake. They are in the realm of assassins. If any group deserves rehabilitation it’s not the hardened criminals; it’s their victims. What hardened criminals like bandit deserves is nothing less than death sentence or life imprisonment. But because the Federal government agents are part of those who promote banditry as it’s a new oil well for them, that’s why you see these brazen corruption in broad day light in Nigeria. They didn’t see the need to create jobs for Nigerians youths to contribute to the economy of the nation to reduce internet fraud and encourage them for positive change. The capital invested into the rehabilitation of these criminals if invested in building companies thereby creating job opportunities for the youth , will that not genuinely and effectively solve not only banditry problems but frauds amongst our youths? No, tell me bro. If the Federal government pretend like they don’t know what’s right to do like they are doing, it means they are behind these atrocities. Go and watch Omoyele Sowores recent interview where he gave account of how corrupt our system is. You will be more than sad for this country. The country is ruled by bandits and criminals from top to bottom. They embezzle money from different strategic chains of the crime - when they buy ammunitions- they steal money; when they hire security experts from the west - they steal money; they use the victims’ horrific stories to seek for aid from international agencies and steal thereafter. That’s what’s all these about bro. It’s a néw corrupt system in Africa. That’s what our own is doing to their people. |
This is how to combat crime; don’t just make a scapegoat out of accomplices or underdogs in the game but ensure the sources are dealt with to serve as deference to others. |
Goodlyhrt:Prom Is not just a party; it’s a cultural statement Prom is not a tool. It’s a culture. And before we rush to embrace another people’s culture, we must first ask: why? History teaches us that Western societies have long borrowed from African cultures such as music, fashion, dance , but they usually take only what positively enriches their lives. That is wisdom. They protect their core identity while selecting from others. Don’t we celebrate the Japanese for their ingenious creatives today. But do these people lost touch with their culture in anyway. So, you should stop mixing things up. In the West today, cultural alienation is a real concern. Even the mighty Greeks, at one point, lost their cultural grip when their language declined, and their people migrated away. Culture is fragile when neglected. Just recently I saw something bizarre at Ojude Oba this year, some participants came dressed fully in Western attire at a deeply traditional Yoruba celebration. That is not a small choice. It’s a statement. Whether intentional or not, it says: I prefer another people’s identity over my own. I had asked myself why did the lady bother showing up in that ceremony when she clearly pointed out from her dress that she detested her culture? Why? Did you see on the TV recently when a group of African leaders went to the White House in the US and how Trump was ridiculing one of them ? Tell me if that man has spoken in his own language, would that have happened? That incident showed clearly that the African leader bargaining power was very low. That wouldn’t have happened if the dignitaries were Asians. Trust me. Lots of you appreciate western culture today because west promoted it with all that they have. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with adopting aspects of other cultures. Technology? Innovation? Art? , we should embrace them. But when the purpose has no real benefit to the people, it’s not cultural enrichment. It’s brainwash. It’s low self-esteem at its best. Ask yourself what are we gaining from replicating the Prom ceremony? Do the Benin people not have beautiful traditional outfits? Do we lack electrifying songs and dances that could be celebrated instead? When we replace our own beautiful traditions with imported ceremonies, we risk becoming strangers in our own homes. Protect the essence of our society. Borrow wisely. Preserve strongly . I leave you with this video watch and you can understand the beauty of when you cherish your own culture. https://youtube.com/shorts/t0bHmxBtUG8?si=clEUBWEPtuKSy-eD |
CoronaVirusPro:They didn’t just throw away their culture completely and embraced someone else’s but also hated their culture. What a dummy way to live a life. |
TheAnimeEnjoyer:Have you had the taste of both worlds ? Before you conclude , ensure you have. For someone like myself, it will be a terrible disservice to me to decide that the West is the best place that supports my dream when I have no idea of what it means to live there. Taking such decision based only on my partial experience about Nigeria will not help my chances at life in anyway. |
TheAnimeEnjoyer:Definition of a choice is not the nature of what something is; it’s the priority or value that one places over individual unique situations or something that’s defines choice. Nigeria or anywhere else in the world has its unique nature and characteristics, where Nigeria may be filled with beautiful cultures and social experiences but miss on fair financial system ; UK for instance may offer no such freedom but may offer financial advantages. Now, choosing ones preference depends on which of these offers does one prioritize the most or will one find the most attractive. So, in your own case, many Nigerians choose a working system over culture while you ironically don’t prioritize such but prefer beautiful cultures and cannot afford to sacrifice it for anything else. My conclusion is it’s the best to have a taste of everything. This is what means to live a fulfilled life. Having a taste of everything in life will offer you this fulfilling experience that you didn’t take decisions based on unfair circumstances but based on true and genuine reasons. |
The law prohibits certain decibel of noise an individual or group can produce depending on whether the area is a commercial or non commercial. It’s because government agencies saddled with the responsibilities of enforcing these laws are just there in their various offices collecting salaries while neglecting their official obligations with impunity. Some of those who constitute such nuisances are liable to fines or jail time of not more than 3 years imprisonment, depending on the circumstances. |
amstamon: ![]() Well, the society has unfairly etch in its polity grace only to the wealthy why disgrace to the poor and struggling, neglecting the major determining factor of societal and deserving reward which is hard-work filled with true resilience and dedication. |
MadeInTokyo:His parents may be wealthy too, which may explain the basis of his wealth. However, your position too can’t be totally ruled out. ![]() |

It may be a business gone wrong. RIP to the dead. Please, watch the kind of companies you keep. Learn to let go of some opportunities. Not all are good some are a disguise for destruction. Sure, hand go soon touch the suspect. In less than 2 weeks. |
Who sent them ? Why do the military always hide that information. Reveal the persons they named for you as those who sent them to the public. Go and carry those ones and continue to reveal their details to the public. Go through the chain of the crime until it gets to the main man. Is that difficult to do by the Nigerian military. ? You people will always claim you’re fighting Bokoharam as if it’s one difficult task you have been saddled with. Is it not what you’re being paid for ? I believe the Nigerian military is not yet ready to fight banditry until information as the one suggested above is always made available to the public. At least the person that sent them must have had meetings with them not on one occasion but several and they definitely have a meeting point; they are not spirits. What other leads do you need again? What sort of useless country is this self? |
You need to be original man. Know the purpose for making each song. Educate with your lyrics rather than singing to worship woman or her body. It’s boring. Connect to your maker for inspiration even if it will be a worldly song , it must be unique. Entertainment only reward creativity. |
