I don't understand the story. Your sister told you about her diagnosis and you probably got it from her? Like, were two of you involved in sexual relationship, used same needles or blood transfusion? Does not make sense
I thought I was the only one. It made no sense. The op muddled the male character with the sister.

Bike men and taxi drivers do the most, your woman was right, ignore the fool who most likely has nothing to lose and looking for trouble. I was at a four road junction not long ago, the roads were tarred and had speed bumps, as i was about getting to the junction I honked to alert other road users, some bike man who wasn't riding with his mind had his eyes wide open but couldn't see anything, as he was about getting to me I honked again, this time he woke up from his sleep and lost control, rode into the gutter which had a transformer, injured himself.
Shop owners and other onlookers came out and helped him up, he got up with bruises and cuts and the next thing all but one of all the witnesses said was he's just a bike man, give him some money to treat himself at the hospital, I was shocked, these were elderly men and women, no brains in their heads obviously, only other man came and said i had no fault, they all ganged up on him and shit him up.
Few minutes later I handed the man 4,000 naira, all the cash I had on me, I said to myself what if this bike man had got electrocuted and died, what would this useless elderly people say, I decided to go back home and not proceed with my travel, as i was about making a turn, I saw a team of bike men, this bike man had gone to call his friends, they demanded more money saying what I gave could do nothing, of course, the onlookers had emboldened him, it was at that point i grabbed my phone and called a police officer who was stationed nearby, this bike man walked up to me gave me a punch and snatched my phone.
It took a lot of self control to not beat up this bike man, he stood no chance against me, a limping bike man who was obviously not feeding well, I had my farm machete in my trunk to use on others, but i just said to myself, devil not today, the police van approached and they disappeared, it is always good to have self control, few weeks later, i found the bike man, found the stop he uses and then I got him arrested for assault, there are ways to deal with crazy people, but it is most often not immediately, find them, and decide to use either legal means or tje street way, I got my dash cam a week later, Nigerians hate car owners, especially if you're a young man.
You see those elderly people. 99% of Nigerians are like them.
Most Nigerians have so much problem demonstrating integrity.
The devil really wanted to cause you regret that day because I can imagine how much angry you were at that moment they ganged up against you.
PoliticsRe: 300 Repentant Terrorists Are Currently Undergoing Rehabilitation - FG by Boomyvig: 8:02am On Aug 11, 2025
emkz:
FG, this is wrong and suspicious.

What about the families of those who lost loved ones? Have they been rehabilitated? What about communities destroyed?

I think this rehabilitation is encouraging crime. There must be punishment for crimes to deter others.

The failure of this rehabilitation exercise is manifested when Niger governor complained that rehabilitated criminals were causing security problems in his state.

Except you are naive, you cannot deradicalize these people.

It is cheaper to send them on a permanent appointment in hell than re-integrate them to society.

You are telling them that crime has reward. That is why new groups like Lakurawa emerge.

Please stop deceiving the public and treat criminals like criminals.
They are evil people brother. They spend public resources to buy ammunition. They facilitate man hunts to capture the bandits who kill and maim their victims with impunity.

However, victims of these attacks are suffering but the Federal government prefer to tend to the rehabilitation of the perpetrators- the criminals, instead.

Assuming these criminals are misdemeanor offenders that will be excusable but these are hardened criminals for Gods sake. They are in the realm of assassins.

If any group deserves rehabilitation it’s not the hardened criminals; it’s their victims. What hardened criminals like bandit deserves is nothing less than death sentence or life imprisonment.

But because the Federal government agents are part of those who promote banditry as it’s a new oil well for them, that’s why you see these brazen corruption in broad day light in Nigeria.

They didn’t see the need to create jobs for Nigerians youths to contribute to the economy of the nation to reduce internet fraud and encourage them for positive change.

The capital invested into the rehabilitation of these criminals if invested in building companies thereby creating job opportunities for the youth , will that not genuinely and effectively solve not only banditry problems but frauds amongst our youths?

No, tell me bro. If the Federal government pretend like they don’t know what’s right to do like they are doing, it means they are behind these atrocities.

Go and watch Omoyele Sowores recent interview where he gave account of how corrupt our system is. You will be more than sad for this country.

The country is ruled by bandits and criminals from top to bottom.

They embezzle money from different strategic chains of the crime - when they buy ammunitions- they steal money; when they hire security experts from the west - they steal money; they use the victims’ horrific stories to seek for aid from international agencies and steal thereafter.

That’s what’s all these about bro.

It’s a néw corrupt system in Africa. That’s what our own is doing to their people.

This is how to combat crime; don’t just make a scapegoat out of accomplices or underdogs in the game but ensure the sources are dealt with to serve as deference to others.

Goodlyhrt:
Lol at the quoted. You’re using the internet, a phone, or a laptop 😀 tools your shallow mind couldn’t even conceive of if you were given a billion years.😁

For your information: all cultures have mixed and many have been erased entirely. The Anglo-Saxons were absorbed by the Normans. Gaul was swallowed by the Romans and eventually became France. The Arabian Peninsula saw countless local cultures wiped out and replaced with Islamic culture. This is not unique to Africa, that's how history works.

Africa’s tragedy is that we were isolated for much of history. While other continents were exchanging ideas, technologies, and institutions, raising the collective “technological floor”.. large parts of Africa were cut off by geography, thick forests, and poor navigable connections. Yes, we had great empires: Mali, Songhai, Benin, Aksum.. but make no mistake, we were no match for the great empires of other continents by the time we made contact with the west. The gap wasn’t racial it was a result of our consequences living in thick, inpenentrable enclaves.

Also cultural contact, even assimilation, isn’t inherently bad. The bad part is that we, as blacks, are too lazy and too distracted (distracted by crying and irrelevance) to use the leverage we have now, leverage our ancestors never dreamed of. The internet. Free access to global knowledge. Technology and education the world shares far more openly than in the past.

The Chinese were colonized, carved up, and humiliated, yet they rose by using the tools available to them. The Japanese were obliterated by two atomic bombs, but they didn’t waste decades hating the West..no, they rebuilt and now sit as equals at the table of power.

I implore my fellow blacks to start our own Renaissance, let’s fast-track ourselves into that precarious committee of nations as equals, not as perpetual beggars for arms and aid. The constant ritual of blaming whites for how we failed is humiliating, self-defeating, and beneath the dignity of any people who claim they want respect.
Prom Is not just a party; it’s a cultural statement
Prom is not a tool. It’s a culture.
And before we rush to embrace another people’s culture, we must first ask: why?

History teaches us that Western societies have long borrowed from African cultures such as music, fashion, dance , but they usually take only what positively enriches their lives. That is wisdom. They protect their core identity while selecting from others.

Don’t we celebrate the Japanese for their ingenious creatives today. But do these people lost touch with their culture in anyway. So, you should stop mixing things up.

In the West today, cultural alienation is a real concern. Even the mighty Greeks, at one point, lost their cultural grip when their language declined, and their people migrated away. Culture is fragile when neglected.

Just recently I saw something bizarre at Ojude Oba this year, some participants came dressed fully in Western attire at a deeply traditional Yoruba celebration. That is not a small choice. It’s a statement. Whether intentional or not, it says: I prefer another people’s identity over my own.

I had asked myself why did the lady bother showing up in that ceremony when she clearly pointed out from her dress that she detested her culture? Why?

Did you see on the TV recently when a group of African leaders went to the White House in the US and how Trump was ridiculing one of them ?

Tell me if that man has spoken in his own language, would that have happened?

That incident showed clearly that the African leader bargaining power was very low. That wouldn’t have happened if the dignitaries were Asians. Trust me.

Lots of you appreciate western culture today because west promoted it with all that they have.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with adopting aspects of other cultures. Technology? Innovation? Art? , we should embrace them. But when the purpose has no real benefit to the people, it’s not cultural enrichment. It’s brainwash. It’s low self-esteem at its best.

Ask yourself what are we gaining from replicating the Prom ceremony?

Do the Benin people not have beautiful traditional outfits?
Do we lack electrifying songs and dances that could be celebrated instead?

When we replace our own beautiful traditions with imported ceremonies, we risk becoming strangers in our own homes.
Protect the essence of our society. Borrow wisely. Preserve strongly .

I leave you with this video watch and you can understand the beauty of when you cherish your own culture.

Prom party in Nigeria!!! 🤣😂🤣😂

I have been doing some research about Black Americans and how they happen to fall at the bottom despite their years of existence in the USA.

In my findings, I got to realize they massively adopted everything that was sold to them, that a majority of White that sold it to them detest.

Let’s starts from Prom, Blacks are mostly intoxicated by this Prom. Drillz celebrating violence are being promoted by White record labels to instigating them against one another. Where killing/hats is now a gold medal.

When will blacks realize that a Caucasian can never sell anything good to them. How do you believe the White man would have told you about Jesus if he was TRULY the way to salvation and eternal life.

Those guys will only sell what will brain wash you, reduce your population, decimate your family, or make you sterile.

In 2025, our race still asleep, and these foolishness we passing on to kids.
They didn’t just throw away their culture completely and embraced someone else’s but also hated their culture.

What a dummy way to live a life.

To be fair. I would live in Nigeria if I owned property and lived off of rental income and passive income. So, I don't have to depend on the job market and local economy. Plus if you have 5 homes paid off it's pretty well off in Nigeria.
Have you had the taste of both worlds ?

Before you conclude , ensure you have. For someone like myself, it will be a terrible disservice to me to decide that the West is the best place that supports my dream when I have no idea of what it means to live there.

Taking such decision based only on my partial experience about Nigeria will not help my chances at life in anyway.

Well with the cost of living in Australia its getting out of control here. Most western people can't afford home anymore and average price of house is nearly 1 million dollars. And, yes wages have gone up slightly but not afford to keep up with the cost of living, taxes are way too high in Australia, and housing and rents have gone up.

For example, if you make 70k after that's about 59k after tax. Sure that seems like a lot of money to you, buts not in developed world. Here's my current living situation, I'm currently share housing with 5 different guys to save on rent alone.

Your average white men living in the west isn't rich like you think they are. The only difference is the Western Money dollar is stronger then the African money on average. That's why. You think they are rich. Your average white person is living pay check to pay check and will not have enough money saved for retirement. Majority of the population is put into aged care homes or centres for old people.

Nigeria as so much potential. You guys have been brainwashed to believe the west is the place to be. Sure in terms of making money it is but in terms of culture or people its not.

It's actually very lonely living in the Western world for me.

Source: I'm a white man myself oybio sorry if that's spelled wrong lol.
Definition of a choice is not the nature of what something is; it’s the priority or value that one places over individual unique situations or something that’s defines choice.

Nigeria or anywhere else in the world has its unique nature and characteristics, where Nigeria may be filled with beautiful cultures and social experiences but miss on fair financial system ; UK for instance may offer no such freedom but may offer financial advantages.

Now, choosing ones preference depends on which of these offers does one prioritize the most or will one find the most attractive.

So, in your own case, many Nigerians choose a working system over culture while you ironically don’t prioritize such but prefer beautiful cultures and cannot afford to sacrifice it for anything else.

My conclusion is it’s the best to have a taste of everything. This is what means to live a fulfilled life. Having a taste of everything in life will offer you this fulfilling experience that you didn’t take decisions based on unfair circumstances but based on true and genuine reasons.

The law prohibits certain decibel of noise an individual or group can produce depending on whether the area is a commercial or non commercial.

It’s because government agencies saddled with the responsibilities of enforcing these laws are just there in their various offices collecting salaries while neglecting their official obligations with impunity.

Some of those who constitute such nuisances are liable to fines or jail time of not more than 3 years imprisonment, depending on the circumstances.

Blessing CEO's gesture of sending cooked food from Enugu to Lagos may seem romantic, but it's impractical and questionable. The delivery can cost over ₦80,000 — more than some Nigerians earn monthly — and poses serious food safety risks due to long transit times. It also reinforces outdated gender roles, where women go to extreme lengths to prove love. In reality, commitment should be mutual and thoughtful, not measured by dramatic or unsustainable acts. In other news, I think she's lying.

Who sent them ? Why do the military always hide that information. Reveal the persons they named for you as those who sent them to the public. Go and carry those ones and continue to reveal their details to the public. Go through the chain of the crime until it gets to the main man. Is that difficult to do by the Nigerian military. ?

You people will always claim you’re fighting Bokoharam as if it’s one difficult task you have been saddled with. Is it not what you’re being paid for ?

I believe the Nigerian military is not yet ready to fight banditry until information as the one suggested above is always made available to the public.

At least the person that sent them must have had meetings with them not on one occasion but several and they definitely have a meeting point; they are not spirits.

What other leads do you need again? What sort of useless country is this self?

You need to be original man. Know the purpose for making each song. Educate with your lyrics rather than singing to worship woman or her body. It’s boring.

Connect to your maker for inspiration even if it will be a worldly song , it must be unique. Entertainment only reward creativity.
