NYSC will make you a Militiaman not an Entrepreneur I have been wondering the rationale behind this National scheme called NYSC. This is yet another foolishness of the military regime that we currently waste fortune to sustain. The conception of this programme is not well intended, that is why they send our youths to military camps as soon as they graduate from the tertiary institutions. Maybe the so called founders of the scheme were expecting Nigeria to plunge into war sooner than later, thus they use this ample opportunity to train militiamen. How then will Nigeria grow or develop economically? NYSC would have been a wonderful initiative if it was intended to train entrepreneurs instead of militiamen who after passing out become jobless. If I were at the helm of that scheme, no Nigerian youth will step his/her feet into those camps. Moreover, that one year programme will be a time to groom future owners of Fortune 500 companies in Africa. I will also scrap out the monthly stipend given to them and pay it to them once they had completed the one year entrepreneurship training. At this point, the stipend will be very much useful to them than the monthly N19,000 which they squander before month end, given the level of inflation in Nigeria. Put those stipends together, train them in any field of their choice, give them the whole stipend once to start up a business and monitor those businesses, simple and short! If this is done, World Bank would never contain the fortune Nigeria will have amassed in 5 years. Let’s stop this madness of sending our unarmed youths to those crisis ridden states in the name of national integration only for them to go there and die of stray bullets and police accidental discharges.Lol. A host of other youths have been thinking that NYSC is another degree but that is not true. NYSC is simply a nationally powered indigenous neo – colonial scheme, crafted to waste time out of your life. If they want to aid national integration let them stop national marginalisation. NYSC has been in existence since 1973 yet it has not achieved it’s primary purpose, why then do we still waste money on it? The things that divide Nigeria is far more greater than the things that bind it. Please go home and rest! Even the country you are serving is not ready to help your life. Low life expectancy, poverty rate very high, insecurity everywhere.

I sure know that a good number of Nigerian youths like me once wished they came from a different country.  I also wish I never came from a country ruled by a Mephistopheles political party like the All Progressive Congress(APC). Bureaucratic bottleneck,religion-ethnocentrism,socio-economic woes, gross incompetence and all manner of clandestine activities are synonymous with this party. When I first saw the logo of this party, I knew Nigeria will be more Jaga-Jaganised than PDP left it.

The recent incessant mindless killings across the country, especially in Benue and Plateau State and the Federal government’s crippling response to it is quite disheartening. We have gotten used to bloodbath to the point that the Presidency now commiserates with victims only through its twitter handle. No press conference! Nothing!! Nothing!!! Nigerian Youths are hardworking, we only have a very Lazy and wicked APC led government that protect cows instead of human lives.

The Fulani Herdsmen and Bokoharam insurgency both have political undertone. My reason is, how can a country that claimed to have defeated Biafra in 3 years fail to defeat Bokoharam for the past 16 years? The Sambisa forest is not larger than a state in Igbo land. Can’t we set that forest ablaze and have peace? Or do we value its timber over human lives too?  Fulani Herdsmen have claimed thousands of Lives since 2015 till date but not even one of the perpetrators has been arrested. Can’t Nigeria ban open grazing and introduce ranching system in all the states? The Presidency has the power but it has been waiting until the Herdsmen finished sweeping the entire Nigeria with the APC broom of ethnic cleansing.

The fight against corruption is a misplacement of priorities. Corruption is inherent in us, until we fight inequalities that exist in Nigeria, winning the war against corruption will be utopian. Financial crime is just one of other forms of corruption, there’s no form of corruption greater than nepotism, favouritism and ethnocentrism.  This invariably means that Mr President’s lopsided appointments is corruption.

The only set of people who can save this dying country are the Youths, aside which there would be no hope for Nigeria under the leadership of those past hoodlums from distinct political recycle bins.

According to our source, which is an unconfirmed report has it that he collapsed after watching Nigeria VS Argentina match. probably as a result of cardiac arrest. may his soul rest in peace.

Old age has over the years played primordial role in the Nigerian politics that the young people long lost faith in this community called Nigeria. We have on several occasions voted ailing Presidents(some died in office while some survived it) due to some kind of party and ethnic sentiments even when we know that they neither qualified nor healthy for Presidency. But do the youth actually need a permission from the presidency to contest elected posts when they are qualified at 18 to vote and be voted for? Nigeria has spent and still spending fortunes simply to keep some of our aged leaders alive. Am talking about those retired political soldiers currently in civilian clothings. They despise our doctors and schools at home but opt for those in London and America, living in orgy of flamboyancy while the populace die in the hands of herdsmen and Bokoharam. Old age depicts wisdom,knowledge, experience, this means that the best political post for aged politicians is Elder Statesman. Once anyone passes 45,he/she ceases to be considered a youth. At this time those within the age brackets above 45 should form an invisible advisory committee. Grey hairs means rest, politicians above 45 already have grey hairs so they should be forced to leave the corridor of power for the young and vibrant youths. Youthfulness depicts strength and power, Kim Jong Un is a good example.



The only guarantee that Nigeria may begin to see the shades of development is only when the ship of leadership is navigated by the youth. I don’t mean any kind of youth but the ones who have good background knowledge in History or Economics. History influences the political behavior of a people but it’s one of the subjects not taught in schools. If you think am not telling the truth, watch the US Presidential debates. History helps one to predict the future but Nigeria could no longer have control over her future because she has long fed on distorted history books and teachers. History tells one why things are the way they are and possible solution on how they may be changed. It makes one to know his immediate environment.
Economics on the other hand influences the wellbeing of a people. Any nation lacking an economist at the helm spends without earning(wait a moment and think about Nigeria)The principle of being wealthy stems on the rate at which a nation sells or buys goods and services among the comity of nations. When a nation depends on others for virtually all her finished goods then that nation is headed for poverty. When the economy becomes bad, politics is affected as the hungry youth will begin to seek extra normal means of survival which is the principal thing, thus form effective tools in the hands of some dubious political Lord.

Although our team is yet to know what is up his sleeves as we cannot categorically state whether he has any intention to contest for any position in the forth coming election in the country.

It was a very bad evening for the people of ebonyi state as their all anticipated day which is Sunday 6th of may 2018, as life lager beer is holding their state to state show and they are featuring Flavour Nabania.
Many people turned up for the show just to have a night out with flavour but the whole story changed as members of SARS stormed the venue as they were working on the directives of the state government. Reasons been that the company did not inform the state that such occasion was taking place in the state, as a result of that the show was going to be stopped and that was how everyone had to go back to their various houses feeling disappointed.

Some residents of the state who felt the act was not fair took to their Facebook handles to air their thoughts.

Tragedy: As Man Commits Suicide In Ebonyi State University, Ishieke Campus

It is a black Friday in Ebsu, Ishieke campus as a man was seen hanging lifeless at Ishieke bridge.

According to our source, the deceased man was the husband to the popular food vendor known as Ntachi, who is a jovial woman and seems to attract her customers to her shop by her friendly nature.

She was seen this morning crying helplessly like she was never this jovial person. And it was a sight to behold as the man hung on the tree.

As comments were dropping, many people were now wondering why on earth would a man chose to take away his life despite the fact that it is well known that things as difficult in the nation but it shouldn't be a justification to him committing suicide.

As at the time of filing this report, we are yet to get the full details on why the man took away his life.
