Seriously, I believed you but why put your hand across the shoulder if you aren't nursing any intention. You will need strong signal of assurance and approval before you can put your hand across your girlfriend's shoulder not to talk of a stranger. IN NIGERIA, REMEMBER, WE BELIEVE WHAT A LADY SAYS MORE THAN THE GUY. Sorry about the lose. I pray God Almighty gives a better one. |

Cc : Sijo01 soberdrunk In my case, was coming from My school then "Ikeja High School". Didn't beg anyone for money but this guy approached me, pointing to a big Ghana must go bag. Across the road while we were under the bridge in Ikeja, the one close to Computer Village. He told me the bag was his but needed to bring to under bridge but couldn't go bring it cos he was looking for truck pusher. He pleaded with me to help him bring it over. Didn't promise me anything but just wanna help. I took my leave to the bag to render my help. As I bent to carry the bag, never knew it was for those guys who were just ready to start arranging their goods for display. The voice I heard was, WETIN HAPPEN? And I boldly replied, the owner wanted me to help him bring it. My brother, the beating no be here. When the soldier came, he asked where is the owner. Only for me to check where we were standing earlier and couldn't see him there. Seems the soldier knew about such event. He only told those Igbo guys to allow me go after telling and showing him my transfer from that I took to my school that year. |
Sijo01:Maybe cos you were never in his shoe. Wonder why we are too quick to judge and not give a critical look into a matter before concluding or passing judgment. |
soberdrunk:Don't be too quick to judge. If your childhood was smooth and good, not everyone has such privilege. |
I pity the young lad. Thanks to those who saved him. Was a victim of such while in JSS 3. I still pray for the soldier man who rescued me that sunny afternoon. Would have been a forgotten soul by now. May God continue to bless the Soldier man and his family. |
