they just want the applicants to forget about the recruitment. Its a delay on purpose.

HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE FCSC BUILDING IN ABUJA? IT IS A SIGHT FOR SORE EYES, NO LIGHT AND MAINTENANCE IS EVIDENTLY LACKING. AS FOR THE MINISTRIES SOME ARE AT LEAST WORTHY OF MENTION LIKE THE MIN OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS FOR INSTANCE, AND FINANCE.

IT IS HIGH TIME WE EMBRACE THE FACT THAT WE AS NIGERIANS, PREDESTINED BY GOD TO THIS COUNTRY, ARE EXPECTED TO CATER FOR OUR VERY EXISTENCE AND MEANS OF SUSTAINANCE (JOB). FINGERS CROSSED FOR THOSE WHO PUT THEIR HOPE IN THE FAILED GOVERNMENT WE HAVE.

IRRESPECTIVE OF THE FACT THAT I EVEN HAVE ONE OR TWO CONNECTION, I MUST CONFESS THAT THE SYSTEM STINKS. IT REEKS OF GREED, ENVY, JEALOUSY AND PRIDE AND THATS WHAT DEPRIVES THE LIKES OF ME AND YOU FROM ATTAINING OUR ANTICIPATED HEIGHTS WHEN IT COMES TO THINGS LIKE THIS.

HAVE YOU EVER WONDER THAT IN THIS AGE AND DISPENSATION WHERE COMPUTER AGE HAS COME TO STAY AND THINGS ARE NOW BEING DONE IN A NANOSECOND, THAT THE FCSC PORTAL IS EITHER DOWN OR THAT THERE IS DELAY IN THE PROCESSING OF SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS AND FOREVER AWAITING A SHORTLIST, THAT THEY ARE SO EXCITED IN KEEPING THOSE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PYRAMID WAITING ANXIOUSLY.

They added federal ministry of trade and investment whereas nobody applied for the ministry. My question is how are they going to shortlist

thanks for this little analysis, if truely tats d case i dont think they wll advertise for the vacancies as they can just fill the positions with their own, the recruitment was said to be massive and by massive we shouldnt expect less than 100 ppl per state. My opinion anyway.

the advertisement is just formality. FCSC is one of the most corrupt institutions

that's just the truth. Hardly can a federal ministry employ more than 300 pple

In this recruitment, we have 12 MDAs divide 38 (pple) by 12 you'll see that each state will get 3 to 4 slots per MDA

Thanks for your answer but how is it possible for a whole state to get new 39 officers. Going by my calculfeation 1368 Will bê employ nationwide. That is very poor. Anyway i am expecting 100 to 120 per state just my option.

In mid-2014,FCSC employed 140 from the 36 state and FCT to fill the vacancy in federal ministry of justice.Now divide 140 by 37, each state got 3 to 4 slots. Also in 2013, ministry of foreign affairs employed 210 through FCSC each state got 4 to 5 slots. Hardly can a federal ministry employ 300 pple.

I met someone last week who had collected his appt letter for FMS&T. The same guy even told me another person got his for BPP and they both had to part with some amount of money running into hundreds of thousands in Naira. I thought people have been called for interview but I'm surprised most people here are still talking about interview and shortlisting.
The nepotism in public service employment have remained the same despite the so-called change. Such a pity people have forgotten how the last advertised fcsc recruitment for bpp, environment, etc went down.
People who are getting the real jobs are not even applying online. Wish you guys the very best as you await shortlisting.

From reliable sources, Chairman of Fcsc to retire next month, interview might not be conducted on till a new chairman is installed.... Prolly ending of February.... Fingers crossed

No the tenure of the chairman and about 5 commissioners of the commission will expire by the end of April or first week of May, 2017. They were appointed on 10th May 2012. Former president Jonathan submitted the name of the chairman and 7 commissioners to the senate on February 8, 2012. The senate confirmed the chairman and 5 commissioners, 2 commissioners were absent and they were appointed for a term of 5 years in the first instance on April 19, 2012. They were sworn in by the president on May 23, 2012.
