Guys, there is nothing on this yet; I mean no decision by the commission. The commission claimed to have a total of 1,500 openings while over 2million candidates applied. The dilemma is 'how do you call such number for test and/interview'? The commission is yet to decide on what to do as at today but most likely they will call only few people they have already decided on or nominated by politicians as usual. Merit is not part of what is on the table as at today.

you are right Merit has always not been part of their decision. They will only send email to those that they want to see inviting them for the apptitude test if it happens that you did not see any email from them that means you have not bn shortlisted they even wrote it in their website "we are currently processing your applications, check your email for update" pray hard

No they don't recruit. They only make sure that FCSC allocate the available vacancies equally among all the states

somebody told me that its 1000. Some will get 120, some will get 150,and some will get 200 slots.

For those of you working in offices and banks, you should know what duplicates means.

I presume all of you have paid in money into bank accounts. The teller is usually two or three. The original one is taken by the banker, you put one inside the box provided and you take one home. Yeah. That's what duplicate is, the same thing but comes in many forms. Another example is applying for Cultural Officer 1 level 08 in ministry of Information and Culture twice. That's also duplicate.

Multiple application is applying for say Foreign Office ll GL 08 in Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And also apply for cultural officer l GL 09 in ministry of info and culture and also applied for procurement officer l under the presidency and so on. That's multiple applications.


The email sent to me says we should delete duplicates application(s) not multiple. If you observed the application has (s) in bracket meaning you can vie for different positions but do not vie for one position more than once. For clarification, pls use the dictionary to distinguish between Multiple and Duplicate.

You are right. Fellow applicants I urge you all to leave your applications as its becareful not to delete it.

My advice to all those who have applied before and were given application ID, don't reapply it will lead to your disqualification. Your information is in their data base.

The House of Representatives has called on the
Federal civil service commission to, without further
delay, declare publicly, the number of vacancies
available and distribute some according to States in
accordance with the Federal character principles.
The call, made yesterday, follows a motion on the
urgent need to investigate the unwholesome
practices involving the Federal civil service
commission with respect to the on going recruitment
exercise announced by the commission, sponsored
by Hon. Henry Archibong and Mustapha Bala Dawaki.Hon. Archibong who expressed concern over the
inability of Nigerians to access the recruitment
portal, disclosed that the portal uploaded by the
Commission is non functional as unemployed
Nigerians have been unable to apply for various
positions.
“Thousands of qualified Nigerians have over the past
days been trying to apply for various positions
advertised by the commission via the portal but are
unable to due to an ineffective portal.
“By uploading a non functional recruitment portal,
the commission is deliberately denying thousands of
suitably qualified Nigerians who wish to contribute
their quota to the service of their fatherland through
gainful employment into the civil service, thereby
subjecting them to hardship.
The non functional portal according to him, “is a ploy
by the commission to come up with names of friend
and the children of the high and mighty in the society
as the only ones that applied for the employment
thereby depriving the children of the poor and the
Federal Government of willing and qualified hands to
move the country forward”.
The lawmakers noted that the action of the
commission is against the change agenda of the
present administration, principle of equity, justice,
fairness, transparency and above all, the principles of
federal character as enshrined in Section 14(3) and
(4) of the constitution.
The House also directed its Committee on Federal
Character to investigate the practice of the
commission and ensure a 24 hour accessibility of the
recruitment portal for intending applicants and
extend the deadline of the submission.

I actually used phone, andriod phone with google chrome with night data around 2 or 3am and was successful. I will advice applicants to always use gmail account it is only dependable email account, my opinion.

that's good. I will also advice all applicants that doing registratn in the day time is jst a waste of time because the site is very slow in the day do it at mid night it will go

My advice to all those who have not yet done their registration. Use laptop with a very good internet service to do your registration not phone. Do it in the middle of the night 12.00 or 1 because the site is slow during the day time

if they have given you your application ID that means your details is in their data base so don't worry they will send you a confirmation soon

I will advice you to do your registration in the middle of the night 12.00 midnight or 1.00. I did mine in the middle of the night and use a laptop with a good internet service don't use a phone

no don't reapply your application is already in their data base. After I submitted my application form, they sent me a copy of the form to my email as an acknowledgement that I've successfully submitted my form that was on friday,September 23, at around 1.17am midnight. I've even printed it
