Most people I know in the UK, were not working in their field, even up to two or three years after graduating. You see, if you have no experience, graduating is the first step on the journey, it shows the direction you want to head in. They don't tell you that.....lol

In fact, they should tell people in the first year that they should start gaining skill/ experience Not just for a job per se, but even to become a well rounded person. Many people have no experience working with others, or under a superior, let alone problem solving and working on their own initiative.

I know many people, myself included that were actually shocked and dazed, regarding what the working world actually demands of even a first jobber. People, we are Nigerians we can rise to the challenge, so long as we accept this truth.
