Since I have been supporting United, I have noticed something, whenever we start making any good strides the opposition fans will single out the player responsible for that and start making vile advances at him.

Ronaldo - he is a diver, a show pony and doesn't score in big games.
Rooney - he will not make it big, he is arrogant and has bad attitude.
Van Nistelrooy - he doesn't score outside 18 goals, he doesn't dribble, he is a tap-in merchant.
Nani- he is a flop, he is not like Ronaldo.

Whenever you see these kinds of talk, know that the player is doing something good. I have seen these kinds of things over the years. And some of our fans will join them, making the player unsettled with unnecessary pressure.

Now the issue with Bruno, is that he gives away possession frequently. Lol, and only scores penalties.

The above isn’t too much of a problem either, as they are things he can improve on. But to say WE SHOULD NOT CRITICIZE HIM is what I can’t take. We actually have a pattern and style of play.

Early on in the season it was gbas-gbos as important team plays are injured, out of favor or we don’t just have them.

Olé has been tinkering with the team and counters were the easiest way to score.

In January when Bruno arrived, Pogba returned from injury and Matic earned his trust, we’ve been playing a possession type of football. The sad part is that we seem to have lost that keen edge we used to have when a counter presents itself.

Since January, Ole has been playing with A (possession football; pass out from the back ) and thrown plan B into the garbage. So, instead of goofing goalkicks to a target man upfield, try to win second balls and attack from there, we’ve been inviting pressure on our GK, CBs and DM (all of whom aren’t gifted at quick thinking) by playing out from the back with 5 opponents surrounding them.

“Possession based” football, for me, is too vague. And for what is worth, if you want to give ole the credit for this “possession based “ football, why can’t we use our team B to play it and churn out a good performance? If klopp or guardiola uses academy players in a match , you would still see clearly the pattern—not different from the 1st team. Your mark should always be on a team irrespective of the players to carry it out.


About playing from the back, isn’t it obvious we have not mastered the style?(and we can’t because our coach doesn’t know the core secret to the style ). The defenders you think are fast thinkers are not better than maguire or lindelof. The coach’s tactics make them look elite .

Guardiola lost KDB for almost a year and still won the league. Klopp uses lallana to top strike and nothing changes in their pattern of play.

I am scared to admit Ole’s is using fergies template. Maybe a bit mordernised sha. We will be here.
