Education / Re: Reps Suspend Jamb’s E-Test, Summons Education Minister by Bowla: 4:03pm On Feb 06, 2013
The idea of e-testing for Jamb is actually overdue in Nigeria. The pros outweigh the cons. There would be no need for students to take the JAMB exams on the same day and time, it would probably be something that would be conducted over a week to say a month time period. With this done it would be almost possible for students to get their scores instantenously or much faster than the paper test evaluations would have taken. Also the argument that most students are not computer literate is baseless. For any graduate to compete in todays world you need to have basic computer literacy skills, and those needed to take a standardized test do not involve anything complicated, just a simple selection on multiple choice questions is all that is necessary.
Politics / Re: I Was Invited By The Democratic Party - Tinubu by Bowla: 8:00pm On Sep 14, 2012
I like the response given by Bola Tinubu, what does his attending the Democratic convention have to do with the myriad of issues bedevilling Nigeria? Also should we not as a nation not be learning from succesful countries who have implemented proper strategies to develop their country. A bunch of Nigerians are just plain psychophants who are content with following the maddening crowd into peril....the day we start seeing our situation as dire and in need of knowledge and expertise from countries that are thriving that will be the day Nigeria will be one step closer to true development.
