Romance5 Neglected Truths That Encourage Ilicit Sex by boxofix(op): 10:52pm On Jun 01, 2018
The truths used in the context of this post refer to those minor hidden factors that almost every one ignores but their out come are always devastating.
The five truths are observations I have made personally from questions I have asked my mind about why people give in to certain things like unlawful, random, indecent or illicit sex. This is not about being biblical only, even people who don’t believe in the precepts of abstinence from sex by unmarried fellows still don’t like it when people sleep around. So, by observation, stories and thoughts, I bring to you this 5 insignificant or over looked factors that may be the cause of illicit sex.

1) Dresses worn by girls indoors, in the neighborhood or the street. I’m not against any form of dressing, any one can dress the way she wants, especially if it befits her status. If you are doctor dress like a doctor, if you are prostitute dress like one. Lolz. Most of our girls dress half or full naked at home or in the neighborhood in the name of fresh air or freedom. OK.
As a guy, I have been to crazy places and terrible environments. I discovered that this dress pattern (e.g bomb shot) are the language signals for womanizers. I have met a few boys who never liked or loved a girl but wants to get down with her because of her exposed lower abdomen or cleavage. That’s deceit, you will agree with me. Some girls are deceived, and made to believe those lustful advances made by this guys. How cheap have you become when a guy makes a statement behind you like, “I bin no wan sleep with her until she sample things.” It’s unwise to be prey to such people. Don’t dress anyhow and pretend like the boys around are not seeing or you want them to see things. OK . Boys like exploring what they see, and this is one of the bitter reasons why some fathers molest their daughters, and brothers molest their sisters. Yes, they lost control, though not justifiable.

2) Another Neglected Truth: Most parents, especially mothers, pay deaf ears to their daughters exorbitant spending without a known source of income. Their mothers know they go after men but say nothing. They receive all the gifts their daughters claimed, that, an Uncle gave them without questions. This wan that this Uncle is giving you things like that? They won’t ask. The wild mothers may go as far as telling the daughters to play safe to avoid HIV. That’s their only concern. A bitter truth: some of their mothers are deaconesses who will pay deaf ears to their daughters unexplainable source of wealth and promiscuity but wouldn’t fail to fault other people’s daughters who are half worst than theirs.

3) A mild truth: That most male children develop feelings for older women or teachers who play with them, especially the ones who call them pet names, like “my love,” “sweet heart,” “my husband.” These children get scared of voicing their feelings for fear of being scolded. At times, they get hurt when they find out these women will be getting married to men older than they are. They feel oppressed and neglected, and they suddenly develop hatred inside of them. A hidden truth, females are not the only ones being molested, some of these older women molest male children. These male children will grow up to become womanizers or paedophiles. Because it’s psychological. Molested female children grow up hating men or being addicted to sex. I ask myself, apart from the psychological effect, what could have made these molested little ones wild when they grow up? Remember, no body says a thing against molestation of male children. We only hear of the girls.

4) A Surprising truth: Most parents amaze me when they say, “I don’t see any reason why my little daughter or son should be liking the opposite sex at this young age.” I hear you Ma. You, you didn’t crush on any boy when you were 10 or 14 abi? Parents should stop judging and demoralizing their teens from liking the opposite sex because it’s natural, rather, they should guide them to stay focused and set priorities right by handling things the right way. When you bully a teenager for liking the opposite sex, you are instilling in him or her, the ability to explore more.

5) A hilarious observation: This is more of an observation than a factor enhancing illicit sex. I have observed recently that, most married women within the ages 30-40 get scared of or avoids talking to young boys for more than 3 minutes. 90% of these type of women hardly trust men, they see them as potential womanizers who may ask them out. Some are scared owing to the fact that their husbands are envious bullies, or they themselves are sexual addicts or soft hearted, who get scared of falling for young boys. This is absolute insecurity or fear of temptation which may lead to illicit sex. What you fear may consume you.

I think I should end here before I talk pass myself. Feel free to drop your comments on the comment box.

FamilyMothers Are Too Funny! by boxofix(op): 8:52pm On Jun 01, 2018
What's the funniest thing your Mom did?
My Mom is the funniest woman in the world. She did something that makes me laugh when ever I remember. The joke is too big that I can get enough laughter out of with for the next 100 years.
The thing that happened...
During my secondary school days, I and my little bro usually had custard as breakfast before leaving for school by 7:30am. Trust boys, most mornings we will be forced out of bed to quickly prepare for school because we were too lazy to get up on our own. We usually RUSHED to bathe, skip chores, and quickly eat, so we could meet up or else the school gate will be shut against us- the latecomers.
The big day I will never forget came, we had custard as usual, but in a hurry. So, we left for school. Our Mom was on her way to work at the moment, so the three of us were moving out of our street to the junction, when my Mom SUDDENLY noticed a pile of custard stuck in my brother's cheek. She tried to clean it urgently because it was embarrassing but there was no way we could get water. She immediately spat some volume of saliva on her hands, applied it on my bro's cheek to soften the custard pile ...and so my brother was made clean.
What makes me laugh till today is not the saliva sef, I'm just baffled at her creativity. Moms are creative!
Could you share the funniest thing your Mom did, in the comment box? Let me know I'm not alone. Lols.

Biblical Romance: Let's discuss Song of Songs

Don't be shy, romance is an interesting part of life unless you want to be celibate. I guess you are already married or you are following the back door to the other room or you are still single and ready to mingle. I know you are in one of these categories. As for me, na only two my Mama born, and I'm given the assignment to produce a multitude of grand children.
Let's leave children talk and face what brings them to the earth, romance. I'm too lazy to define romance because of its numerous definitions, but just know that, it simply means an intimate relationship, in this context; a sexual legal relationship between two opposite sex. What did I say? Opposite sex! I know you know the meaning, I defined it for the sake of the new converts.
Romance is an inevitable aspect of relationship that has been overlooked by some Christian folks. This act of neglecting does more harm than harm. Yes, no good in it. Bad romance has been the silent yet disturbing primary cause of wahala (dispute) in many troubled or broken homes. You may not know it's the reason why some marriages around your neighbourhood failed, unless you are told. Pause for a while, and think why those couple around you divorced. Don't conclude yet! The parties involved in a romantic-borne saga may not tell anyone not even their Pastors, for the fear of being termed unholy or canal. We can not deny the fact that no matter how spirited we are, we wear bodies that crave for our sexual needs to be satisfied by our partners. So, as Christians, how do we bring in God to intervene in our romantic affairs? I personally think the solution starts with the understanding of what the Holy Bible says about romance. So let's roll into the the popular but neglected book of the Holy Bible, Song of Songs.

Is the Song of Songs a canal book?

Unclear about the writer of Song of Songs, many traditionally believed that it was written by King Solomon or the contents may be inspired by the events in Brother Solo's life, who was famous for his acquisition of 300 wives and 700 side chicks. We are not hear to argue theology, but I just want to make us understand that that book is useful like every other book in the Bible. Yes, it is useful like Genesis, Matthew and even Revelation which dwelt more on end time events. Song of Songs is believed by some to be an expression of Christ's love for the church, while others may argue that it is an old testament book and there fore, holds no grip in the new testament church. A different set of people may adapt it as a reference book for lovers and how they are or ought to express erotic love. Here is what Wikipedia says, "Unlike other books of the Bible, Song of Songs shows no interest in Law or Covenant or Yahweh the God of Israel, nor does it teach or explore Wisdom like Proverbs or Ecclesiastes (although it does have some affinities to Wisdom literature, as the ascription to Solomon indicates); instead, it celebrates sexual love, giving "the voices of two lovers, praising each other, yearning for each other, proffering invitations to enjoy [1]. Arguing the interpretation of this biblical book makes less meaning. Two different set of people reading the Bible may have different rhema or understanding, that goes to show why the Bible is not boring and the truth of the Omniscient nature of God.
The challenge is that, many people see this book of the Bible as canal, but believe me you, in this book lies the salvation(saving power) of many marriages. If you doubt this, are you holier than God who gave ALL scriptures by inspiration, profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness... (2 Timothy 3:16-17). A deep dive into the Song of Songs, reveals how erotic love is expressed via drama, songs, or other forms of literature. The bottom line is, with the understanding that Song of Songs is meant to build our sexual relationships as Christians; HOW WELL CAN WE USE IT'S CONTENTS TO BUILD OUR RELATIONSHIPS?

CelebritiesRe: Why Celebrities Maintain A Unique Fashion Style by boxofix(op): 11:01am On May 23, 2018
Distraction
When you are confident of who you are, you'll will impress nobody. Dangote can decide to wear shorts and work on the street but nobody questions that, but a poor man will want to spend all his money to buy a trouser or shirt he can't maintain. People will still know he's pooooor.
When you are big, you are big. If Dangote decides to tie wrapper and waka people will adapt it as style. Because he's paid his dues.
That's priority.

Why Celebrities Maintain A Unique Fashion Style

Have you ever wondered why many rich and influential celebrities always maintain a particular dress style, sense or some colours. Do you think they don’t have money to buy plenty clothes like my aunty or they are just dumb in fashion sense?
Over time, fashion has been rather psychological than mere beautification. Psychological, because people tend to wear clothes their mind think it’s cool and comfortable with, than wearing every other random dress. Have you asked your self why a friend always prefer a black dress and you may love a red make of that same dress? Individual preference I guess? People feel more connected to some colours than others, and that may usually contribute to their sense of confidence.

In this 21st century, the choice of clothes is mostly influenced by our attraction to them, simplicity, colours, designs, texture, nature of work, cost and a host of other numerous factors. The cost factor which is the least (don’t argue), has been a primary reason many people end up in wrong choices, because of their attachment to the philosophy, “the costlier your wears, the better your value.” This is not always true, as people can spend huge amounts of money in buying clothes that don’t fit their personality, but may be comfortable because his/her sense of worth is attached to price than style and simplicity. This is what prompted me to write this post.

Considering the cost factor, here is a list of celebrities who I think don’t attach so much attention to their fashion cost, but rather creating a unique style, personality and simplicity with their fashion.

#1 Donald Trump – flare for red ties
As the 45th President of the world’s most influential nation, one would expect Trump to patronize all manners of designs and fashion collections but his flare for red ties got some thinking, why those he keep repeating ties when he has the money to buy a billion ties of different colors? That defines his psychological approach to his fashion sense. Red is an energetic colour that craves for attention, that says it all of Trump. He’s always in the news, so, it’s obvious to note that his fashion sense sends a subliminal message of his power and vigour. You will agree with me that fashion in this case is used in building personality rather a fulfillment from expenditure. Have you noticed his unique hair style? Have you noticed Obama’s flare for blue ties? Fashion should be personality based than cost based. I never said Trump wear cheap ties, before I hear my name on CNN.

#2 Mark Zuckerberg – grey colored T-shirt. You wanna tell me he’s poor and that’s why he can’t afford to repeat that weird T-shirt abi? Listen to that thought of yours, then, join me and laugh your self. Facebook cofounder, Zuck, falls into this category of people who opt for fashion just for simplicity sake rather than cost. His reason, he doesn’t want to be distracted with the choice of what to wear when he wakes up each morning, knowing, he has a billion needs to meet. Wisdom abi?

Let’s take it down to Nigeria,

#3 Goodluck Jonathan – black etibo. Have you wondered why the former President is seen always with same colour and design of etibo?

#4 Ngozi Okonjo-iweala – Headtie
Former Finance Minister, Ngozi’s head tie is worth talking about. Only God knows why she loves that style of head wrapping which had become her trade mark.

#5 Yemi Osinbajo – Have you observed that Nigeria’s 2nd citizen often appears in his black traditional dress complemented with his black hat. Trade mark!

#6 TY Bello – What about her addiction to simple colours and unique dress sense? Trade mark!

I personally believe our approach to fashion should be a match to creating our unique style and personality, rather than trying to impress people with different designs and collections of clothes. As a person, you must not wear everything you see people wear, that makes you unique. Only you does it.

The key players of our world are economical, matured, focused and comfortable with their choice of fashion. So tell me why our aunties want to buy all the Gucci bags and clothes with their ordinary civil servant salary that person we nor hear word sef. Looking good is always a good business. Our value to the society is not determined by looking good but by bringing food to the table.
Let me end here, before you ask me what I have contributed to the society. I can not fit quarrel you.

TV/Movies5 Cinema Thrilling Movies: #1 Is Your Favourite by boxofix(op): 9:06am On May 19, 2018
5 Cinema Thrilling Films: #1 is Your Favourite

The Nigerian film industry has been one of the fastest growing industries locally and internationally amongst its counterparts, Hollywood and Bollywood. For the past few 5 months I came across 5 powerful movies which left an impression on me, so, I thought I should share it with you.

#5 Idahosa Trails

Director: Stanlee Ohikhuare

Wowu! This movie lies on the story of the iconic christian figure, Benson Andrew Idahosa who trailed in the 20th century, bringing dynamic influence and breaking of dogmas in the Nigerian church history. What an awesome striking resemblance between Idahosa and Charles Okafor who played the lead role. However, as interesting as this story may be, it was told from a documentary photographer’s point of view, who came across the works of Idahosa. The feeling you will get about this movie is that, you are born to effect change and until you do, nothing happens. You have to be intentional about your vision in life and that was the story of Idahosa.

#4 Cat-ch-er

Director: Walter Taylaur (Walterbanger)

Coming at number 4, is the crime and detective psychological thriller, Cat-ch-er. No matter how good you are in predicting films, you can’t predict who murdered her (Beverly Naya) in this very sensitive masterpiece. The director is not well o, playing with my emotions. This movie was well crafted with the dramatic mystery surrounding her death, arising to suspense from the unclear identity of Alexx Ekubo (her boyfriend) and her colleague (Blossom Chukwujekwu) who were the suspected perpetrators of her death. The resolution unravel with an outcome least expected by audience. I speak with 101% assurance that the producer can move ahead to make a part 2 because 97% of the audience may not know the murderer, but surely O. C Ukeje did a detective miracle on fishing out the murderer.

#3 Wives On Strike: The Revolution

Director: Omoni Oboli

Hmm. Personally, I feel this movie should be number 1 on my recently watched movies but some people will bite my ears off. Should I tell why I feel this movie is the best. Omoni Oboli, the screen goddess, Producer and Director of this film performed a miracle. This movie is a sequel to Wives On Strike which toured the path of child abuse, politics and feminine strength. A lot of people will expect that a sequel would be boring, disappointing and extorting. But, No! She proved otherwise. This time around, it was domestic violence, but star studded like the Paramount Mountain. From the grand breaking performances of Sola Sobowale (Toyin Tomato), Hafeez Oyetoro (Saka), Odunlade Adekola (King of memes), Toyin Abraham (she needs Jesus), to the unbeatable performances and interesting characters of Uche Jumbo, Chioma Chukwuka (the virgin),Omoni Oboli;
the audience were left with no choice than to laugh away their future sorrows. It’s all enlightening, breathtaking and entertaining. I have seen a woman who directs, a woman who produces, a woman who acts, but never have I seen a woman who does the three without default like Omoni Oboli.

#2 Quick Story

Director: Dick Williams Azibagir

Ghen! ghen! Quick Story is a revolutionary short film series with different episodes of unique stories. The short films were stylishly created with engaging plots everyone can easily relate to, with its ability to influence and entertain audience with Godly, Societal and Comical blends. This film series breaks the norms of film making, to unravel film creativity and imaginative scenarios that connects events and actions in humans. The stories told are rather too therapeutic than mere entertainment, sending vital messages via the film media, which comes in doses of imaginative dramas and comedies. #1 The Wedding Party 2 (Destination Dubai)

Director: Niyi Akinmolayan

I know this movie is your number Nollywood film. Am I lying? A sequel to the part 1, comes this box office grossing movie, The Wedding Party 2 (Destination Dubai). The movie had it’s world premiere on 10th December, 2017, at the Eko Hotels, with a grand breaking record at the box office replacing the previous noble stand held by The Wedding Party 1 in the history of Nollywood. This is it, set records and break records, set new records again. Thumbs up to Mo Abudu, the CEO of Ebony Life Films and TV. The financial success of this movie got people talking about it than the creativity invested into it. Who cares to talk about creativity, the box office rakings says it all. Ebony Films had to hire a new director to execute the part 2, which kept many wondering how the flow of actions will be guaranteed in the sequel, but Niyi, the jellof rice lover proved his expertise on this one. Superb!
The movie as usual is star studded with Nollywood’s best features. It was shot in Nigeria and Dubai, hovering around the accidental proposal of Ayinna, Banky W’s brother to a British lady of royal decent. The drama lies in the headache producing protocols involved in getting married in Nigeria, and the need to fix a wedding in Dubai, where we saw some Nollywood characters take their “bad and funny habits” to Dubai. Hilarious! Mama G and Frank Donga were their to spoil show for people. Chiwatalu Agu, also came through with his bad mouth, and of course some complex parables. I personally think the movie survived more on comic strength than plot sequencing. I suspect the director, Niyi Akinmolayan, may have pulled it through with inspiration from Nigerian jellof rice. He did a pro job and the movie was and is pro.
