Well done to all webmasters, developers, and email marketers in the house. So recently, my company’s mailing list has been growing exponentially, like several hundreds of thousands new subscribers added monthly. Sending email newsletters/campaigns twice a week became insanely expensive and deliverability started dropping. Someone here then referred us to Segnivo, specifically their unlimited plan, that it was what saved them too, and possibility to pay in NGN. We are in the process of making the switch, almost done and looking great, but I just wanted to bring up the conversation to get more thoughts, insights, and advice on reducing email costs and improving deliverability for super large mailing lists. Besides, we don’t want to spin up any mail servers any time soon as that is a lot of headache, trouble, and stress. |

However, the lucrativeness of this business has led to the fast-rising number of agents we see everywhere, literally, it is becoming difficult not to find one in any street you find yourself in; while this is good for the average Nigerian, the consequence it for other operators is that the profitability of the business may drop drastically, then there may not be any incentive for people to continue with it in the long run. Nevertheless, the business remains profitable and would continue to be so for the next few years. Here are some challenges you need to keep in mind as you consider venturing into this business: 1. Security Challenge: This is one of the main challenges that most POS agents face in Nigeria.
